Frame
Handcrafted of domestically-sourced solid ash wood and shaped with contemporary curvature. Kiln-dried hardwood is precision-cut for a frame that'll never twist, warp or crack. Joints are glued, double-dowelled and corner-blocked for extra stability.
Cushion
The Kenmare's seat cushion features a core of high-resiliency foam wrapped with a layer of microfiber. Finished with blind seams and a soft crown, providing comfort within its contoured frame.
Upholstery
A tight seat and back are seamlessly upholstered to its distinct curvature in the fabric or leather of your choice.
Finish
Completed with your choice of hue, specially finished to highlight the natural grain and character of the solid wood frame.

Shipping
Once production of your piece is complete, it will be picked up from our partner’s workroom and transported to a facility in your local area. This varies by location and typically takes 2-4 weeks. At this point, your piece is ready for delivery and you will be contacted by our white glove partners to schedule a date for your delivery. After you place your order, we will provide you with an estimate of when you will receiving your scheduling call based on your zip code. Feel free to reach out to our team prior to placing your order for an estimate of your shipping timeline.
White Glove Delivery
This piece is delivered via white glove service. A two-person delivery team will arrive during your scheduled time, bring your furniture into your room of choice, unpack it, and take all packaging with them.
Easy Returns
We are happy to accept returns on your piece within 30 days of delivery. If you aren't in love, we will arrange for our delivery partners to pick it up from your home. You will be refunded your entire purchase price minus 10%.
Note cancellations after 24 hours will also be charged a 10% fee.
What is The Kenmare’s cushion and foundation composed of?
The Kenmare’s cushion features a high-resiliency Ultracel core with a microfiber wrap, which offers a structured and supportive seat. Rows of heavy gauge sinuous steel springs form the seating foundation.
What finish options are available?
The Kenmare is completed with your choice of seven finishes for a bespoke piece tailored to your space. For a silky matte feel, choose Handwaxed Ash to highlight the natural grain and character of the wood. Or, select from six lacquered hues for a custom stain. Due to the natural materials used, each piece will possess a unique, one-of-a-kind character and may slightly vary.
Natural wood will age over time, with evidence of life and wear contributing to its patina. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth and never use harsh solvents.
Can I order wood finish samples?
Wood finish samples for The Kenmare are available for order here. Please note, variation in grain and texture is to be expected between your wood sample and final piece, given the natural materials used. We’ll be happy to refund your swatch purchase if returned within 30 days of the original ship date.
How do I care for The Kenmare Chair upholstered in shearling?
Our pure New Zealand shearling is sourced from Moore & Giles, one of America's oldest and most revered leather companies. In order to keep the luxe, touchable textural and natural dimension of shearling, we recommend the following special care and maintenance:
• Using an upholstery attachment with the rotary setting turned off, vacuum your shearling on the highest setting to remove any dust and debris.
• For spot cleaning, gently pat the stain using a mild liquid detergent and a damp sponge as quickly as possible.
• Use a soft towel to absorb any leftover moisture, avoiding rubbing the natural fibers. Never use bleach or cleaners containing enzymes.
• To remove knots and tangles, use a wooden bristle brush to revive natural texture.
• To avoid sun spots and fading, avoid exposure to direct sunlight and high heat.
• If deep cleaning is necessary, use a professional service specializing in leather or sheepskin.
