Construction Details
Inside each Maiden Home piece, you'll find premium materials and cut-no-corners construction. We are proud to back up our quality with an industry-leading warranty.
Frame
Kiln-dried hardwood is precision-cut for a frame that'll never twist, warp or crack. Joints are glued, double-doweled and corner-blocked for extra stability.
Springs
Interwoven strips of rubber webbing form the Bowery's foundation. This technique offers maximum support and durability in a slim profile.
Overlay
The Bowery’s removable overlay is made of solid ash wood that offers superior strength in a streamlined profile. The overlay is specially finished to protect against daily wear, including water stains and ring marks.
Upholstery
The ottoman is constructed using a core of high-resiliency foam wrapped in layers of microfiber, providing a soft, plush feel. Corners are hand-pleated for a gorgeous finish. Leather ottomans come with a double-needle seam along the center of the piece.
Base
A subtle plinth base adds a weightless aesthetic to this substantial piece. Each plinth base is constructed of solid ash and finished to match your ottoman’s overlay.

Production
Your piece will be made to order by our craftsmen partners. You’ll receive Build Updates along the way, so you’ll be able to follow along as your piece comes to life.
Shipping
Once production of your piece is complete, it will be picked up from our partner’s workroom and transported to a facility in your local area. This varies by location and typically takes 2-4 weeks. At this point, your piece is ready for delivery and you will be contacted by our white glove partners to schedule a date for your delivery. After you place your order, we will provide you with an estimate of when you will receiving your scheduling call based on your zip code. Feel free to reach out to our team prior to placing your order for an estimate of your shipping timeline.
White Glove Delivery
This piece is delivered via white glove service. A two-person delivery team will arrive during your scheduled time, bring your furniture into your room of choice, unpack it, and take all packaging with them.
Easy Returns
We are happy to accept returns on your piece within 30 days of delivery. If you aren't in love, we will arrange for our delivery partners to pick it up from your home. You will be refunded your entire purchase price minus 10%.
Note cancellations after 24 hours will also be charged a 10% fee to offset the material costs that our partners incur.
Is the wood table on top of The Bowery Coffee Table Ottoman removable? Can I order the ottoman without the table?
The wooden table is separate from the upholstered ottoman. As such, it can slide to your desired position over the length of the ottoman or be used elsewhere in your home. The upholstered ottoman is not available to order without the table.

Each finish showcases the natural texture and beauty of the wood grain while offering superior protection against daily wear, including water stains and ring marks.
Can I order wood finish samples?
Wood finish samples for The Bowery are available for order here. Please note, variation in grain and texture is to be expected between your wood sample and final piece, as this is a hand-applied finish on a natural material. We’ll be happy to refund your swatch purchase less 10% for handling if returned within 30 days of the original ship date.
