Frame
Kiln-dried hardwood is precision-cut for a frame that'll never twist, warp or crack. Joints are glued, double-doweled and corner-blocked for extra stability.
Springs
Rows of heavy gauge steel sinuous springs offer incredible support in a slim profile. Springs are doubled up at each end, where most of us tend to gravitate.
Cushions
A high-resiliency core is wrapped in a jacket of down, feathers and fiber for a cloud-like, sink-in feel. Back cushions are filled with down, feather and fiber and individually channeled to resist settling over time.
Upholstery
Each slipcover is hand-sewn to perfectly hug its frame, but easily slips off for washing. All seat and back cushions are zippered for easy removal. Due to the organic content of Performance Linen, slight variations in color may occur after washing. To prevent, machine wash cold and air dry.

Production
Your piece will be made to order by our craftsmen partners. You’ll receive Build Updates along the way, so you’ll be able to follow along as your piece comes to life.
Shipping
Once production of your piece is complete, it will be picked up from our partner’s workroom and transported to a facility in your local area. This varies by location and typically takes 2-4 weeks. At this point, your piece is ready for delivery and you will be contacted by our white glove partners to schedule a date for your delivery. After you place your order, we will provide you with an estimate of when you will receiving your scheduling call based on your zip code. Feel free to reach out to our team prior to placing your order for an estimate of your shipping timeline.
White Glove Delivery
This piece is delivered via white glove service. A two-person delivery team will arrive during your scheduled time, bring your furniture into your room of choice, unpack it, and take all packaging with them.
Easy Returns
We are happy to accept returns on your piece within 30 days of delivery. If you aren't in love, we will arrange for our delivery partners to pick it up from your home. You will be refunded your entire purchase price minus 10%.
Note cancellations after 24 hours will also be charged a 10% fee to offset the material costs that our partners incur.
How do I maintain my Dune Chair and a Half?
The Dune Collection was designed for easy maintenance. The slipcover is upholstered in a selection of our beautiful Performance fabrics, which are resistant to stains and spills so that you don’t have to sacrifice your style for your lifestyle. Liquid spills will bead up on the surface and can be easily spot cleaned using a cleaning solution of mild detergent and water. Blot dry; do not rub or brush excessively, as that may damage the fibers.
The Dune’s slipcover and cushion casings are hand-sewn in our Performance fabrics that are specifically prewashed to allow for easy removal and machine washing at home. All fabric can be removed and machine washed, including body fabric, seat, and back cushion covers. The slipcover can also be washed alone in your washing machine. Due to the organic content of our slipcover fabrics, slight variations in color may occur after washing; to prevent, machine wash cold and air dry. We suggest putting the slipcover back on the frame while it is still slightly damp—letting it dry completely on the frame will release wrinkles and allow it to fit better onto the frame.

Is The Dune Chair and a Half available with down alternative?
The Dune Chair and a Half is available with a down alternative cushion. Down alternative cushions are filled with microdenier fiber, an ultra fine synthetic fiber that mimics the sink-in feel of down and feather. Down alternative cushioning will offer the same relaxed look and feel of standard down, and will carry a similar maintenance profile. The Dune with down alternative will feature our standard high-resiliency Ultracel core, and channeling in both seat and back cushions. Is there a wood finish option available for The Dune Chair and a Half?
The Dune’s legs are finished in a neutral chocolate brown and designed to be hidden underneath the slipcover. The legs are not removable for delivery.
What are the Dune Chair and a Half's cushions composed of?
The Dune’s cushions feature a high-resiliency Ultracel core enclosed in a down, feather, and fiber wrap. Its wrap contains 50% fiber and 50% down and feather blend. This formulation was designed to offer the luxurious feel of down with support that will stand the test of time. For lighter maintenance, each cushion is encased in cotton ticking, which minimizes natural feather migration.
What is the difference between Performance Linen, Performance Textured Linen, and Performance Stonewashed Linen?
Linen is a versatile material that can be styled in both formal and casual settings, and is beloved for its classic texture that never goes out of style. When choosing linen upholstered pieces, keep in mind that a higher content of natural linen fibers gives your piece a slubby, more casual look that softens over time. Our linen collections offer three levels of relaxed aesthetic: Performance Linen (22% linen), Performance Textured Linen (68% linen), and Performance Stonewashed Linen (100% linen). Our Performance Textured Linen is a natural linen and cotton blend for a casual feel, while our Performance Linen material contains a lower percentage of natural linen, giving a smoother look to your piece while still maintaining textural interest. Performance Stonewashed Linen contains 100% pure linen for the most relaxed texture with a beautiful drape. Each of our linen collections gives a relaxed yet elegant feel to your piece that beautifully ages with time.
