Frame
Kiln-dried hardwood is precision-cut for a frame that'll never twist, warp or crack. Joints are glued, double-doweled and corner-blocked for extra stability.
Springs
Rows of heavy gauge steel sinuous springs offer incredible support in a slim profile. Springs are doubled up at each end, where most of us tend to gravitate.
Cushions
A high-resiliency core is wrapped in a jacket of silky microfiber for a luxurious feel with minimal maintenance.
Upholstery
Fabric seat and back cushions are fully upholstered and reversible. Leather cushion backs are semi-upholstered to provide a sink-in comfortable seat.
Details
Hidden cushion tie-downs secure the Ludlow's seat cushions in place and resist pesky "rise" at cushion ends.

Production
Your piece will be made to order by our craftsmen partners. You’ll receive Build Updates along the way, so you’ll be able to follow along as your piece comes to life.
Shipping
Once production of your piece is complete, it will be picked up from our partner’s workroom and transported to a facility in your local area. This varies by location and typically takes 2-4 weeks. At this point, your piece is ready for delivery and you will be contacted by our white glove partners to schedule a date for your delivery. After you place your order, we will provide you with an estimate of when you will receiving your scheduling call based on your zip code. Feel free to reach out to our team prior to placing your order for an estimate of your shipping timeline.
White Glove Delivery
This piece is delivered via white glove service. A two-person delivery team will arrive during your scheduled time, bring your furniture into your room of choice, unpack it, and take all packaging with them.
Easy Returns
We are happy to accept returns on your piece within 30 days of delivery. If you aren't in love, we will arrange for our delivery partners to pick it up from your home. You will be refunded your entire purchase price minus 10%.
Note cancellations after 24 hours will also be charged a 10% fee to offset the material costs that our partners incur.
What is The Ludlow’s comfort profile?
The Ludlow has become a favorite for its tailored, midcentury detailing paired with a super relaxed, ultra comfortable sit. With gorgeous styling details like a biscuit-tufted tight back, the generous seat depth and recline of the seat back belies its polished, tailored silhouette. What are The Ludlow’s cushions composed of?
The Ludlow’s cushions were designed to offer an inviting, sink-in feel with excellent underlying support—and minimal maintenance required. This thoughtfully-considered design starts with a core of high resiliency foam surrounded by soft, silky microfiber that is then encased in a cotton ticking to allow for breathability, giving the perfect balance of sink-in comfort and lasting support.
Can I order The Ludlow as an L or U shaped sectional?
The Ludlow is not available as an L or U shaped sectional. By design, this style only lends itself to a chaise sectional.
Is The Ludlow made with center support legs at all sizes?
Center support legs are not necessary on smaller widths, so we have eliminated them for a more streamlined look. Center support legs are found on The Ludlow at sizes 90” and above.
What is the wood base made out of and what finish options are available?
The Ludlow’s wooden base and legs are expertly handcrafted from solid maple, a robust Appalachian hardwood, and kiln-dried to prevent warping and splitting over time. Our maple wood is domestically sourced from forests in the eastern United States and has been certified and verified sustainable by the US Forest Association.
The Ludlow’s base is completed with your choice of four lacquered hues specially finished to highlight the natural grain and character of the wood. Due to the natural materials used, each piece will possess a unique, one-of-a-kind character and may slightly vary.
Can I order wood finish samples?
Wood finish samples for The Ludlow are available for order here. Please note, variation in grain and texture is to be expected between your wood sample and final piece, given the natural materials used. We’ll be happy to refund your swatch purchase less 10% for handling if returned within 30 days of the original ship date.
Is The Ludlow’s base removable for delivery?
The Ludlow’s wooden base is removable for delivery. With the legs removed, the frame is reduced to to 27” high.
