The Reade is constructed from domestically-sourced, solid ash wood. Hand-carved ash columns support the solid tabletop for an heirloom piece that will last generations.
Finish
Completed with your choice of six lacquered finishes, offering a layer of protection against water stains and ring marks. Please note, we recommend using coasters, trivets, or added protection against moisture, heat, and surface damage to extend the life of your solid wood piece.

Production
Your piece will be finished to order by our craftsmen partners. You’ll receive Build Updates along the way, so you’ll be able to follow along as your piece comes to life.
Shipping
Once production of your piece is complete, it will be picked up from our partner’s workroom and transported to a facility in your local area. This varies by location and typically takes 2-4 weeks. At this point, your piece is ready for delivery and you will be contacted by our white glove partners to schedule a date for your delivery. After you place your order, we will provide you with an estimate of when you will receiving your scheduling call based on your zip code. Feel free to reach out to our team prior to placing your order for an estimate of your shipping timeline.
White Glove Delivery
This piece is delivered via white glove service. A two-person delivery team will arrive during your scheduled time, bring your furniture into your room of choice, unpack it, assemble it, and take all packaging with them. If you ordered this product with other upholstered goods, your order will be scheduled for a single delivery with our white glove partners.
Easy Returns
We are happy to accept returns on your piece within 30 days of delivery. If you aren't in love, we will arrange for our delivery partners to pick it up from your home. You will be refunded your entire purchase price minus 10%.
Note cancellations after 24 hours will also be charged a 10% fee to offset the material costs that our partners incur.

The Reade Table is expertly handcrafted from solid ash wood—domestically sourced from sustainable forests in the eastern United States—and kiln-dried to prevent warping and splitting over time. From the hand-shaped column legs to the custom lacquered finish, The Reade is crafted to bring out the inherent character and natural beauty of solid ash wood for an heirloom piece you’ll have for generations.
What is the durability of ash wood and how is it sourced?
Each Reade Table is expertly handcrafted using solid ash, a robust hardwood with a beautiful depth and texture in its grain. Our artisan partners hand select each material for its beauty and unique character, giving your piece a natural, one-of-a-kind variation.
Our ash wood is domestically sourced from sustainable forests in the eastern United States. We are proud to build our pieces from ash that is harvested in accordance with traditional and civil rights. We do not source from forests that are being converted to non-forest use or where genetically modified trees are planted.
How is The Reade Table finished?
The Reade Table is completed with your choice of six lacquered hues specially finished to highlight the natural grain and character of the wood, with an added layer of protection against water stains and ring marks. To extend the life of your solid wood piece, we recommend using coasters, trivets, or added protection against moisture, heat, and surface damage; otherwise, enjoy the added character and aging that happens over time.
Can I order wood finish samples?
Wood finish samples for The Reade Table are available for order here. Please note, variation in grain and texture is to be expected between your wood sample and final piece, given the natural materials used. We’ll be happy to refund your swatch purchase less 10% for handling if returned within 30 days of the original ship date.

How many chairs does each size of The Reade Table accommodate?
For a comfortable fit, our design team recommends 6-8 chairs for the 72” Reade Table, 8-10 chairs for the 84" and 96” Reade Table, 10-12 chairs for the 108" Reade Table, and 12 chairs for the 120" Reade Table. For additional advice planning the size, scale, and layout of your space, our team of interior designers is here to help.
What dining chair height is ideal to pair with The Reade Table?
A designer rule of thumb is to pair chairs with a seat height that is 10-13 inches below the height of the tabletop. Our dining tables are designed with a 30” tabletop height, ideally paired with any dining chair offered in our assortment.
