In approaching the design of The Dune, we drew on the most-loved elements of traditional slipcovered styles—comfort, utility, and versatility—while elevating the overall aesthetic with elegant design detailing. Carefully tapered arms ground The Dune in contemporary style and offer a fresh contrast to the lofty proportions of the down-filled bench cushion.

Each hand-sewn slipcover is carefully fitted to its frame for a crisp, bespoke fit and finished with a tailored flange seam. The flange seam made its first appearance on The Dune Sofa to highlight its architectural frame and has since become a signature across our assortment, featured on pieces like The Jones Modular and The Wythe Bed.

We designed The Dune Sofa and Sectional with two back cushion styles: Scatter Back or Classic Back. Scatter Back cushions lend a more relaxed aesthetic with flexibility to be layered as desired for the perfect level of support, while Classic Back cushions offer a more tailored aesthetic, maintaining cloud-like comfort.

In constructing our most laid-back style, we paired a generous seat depth and down-filled cushioning with the relaxed feel of linen. The Dune’s ultra-lofted shape nods to overstuffed silhouettes of the moment, while the classic elegance of the linen slipcover ensures this collection's perennial appeal and adaptability to a variety of settings. Designed with a modern bench cushion, this style offers a plush look and feel with ultra-lofted support. Each cushion is constructed with a high-resilience foam core wrapped in thick layers of down, feather, and microfiber to create a cloud-like, sink-in seat, requiring less maintenance than a 100% down composition.

Linen is a versatile material that can be styled in both formal and casual settings and is beloved for its classic texture that never goes out of style.
