My entire experience with Maiden Home was fantastic, and I could not be happier with our Irving chaise sectional. I recently had a nightmare experience with Pottery Barn where my custom furniture order was lost and it ultimately took over 5 months to receive it - I spent countless hours on hold trying to sort it out and the quality of the service and of the item itself left so much to be desired. When I started looking for a new sofa, I was frustrated with the standard big box options and felt like there was no way to get a high quality piece that was made in the USA within my budget. Enter Maiden Home! I was hesitant to order something sight unseen and spent hours perusing their Instagram, reading reviews, and picking out swatches before deciding to take the plunge. If that is you right now, trust me - you will not be disappointed! I thought the reviews sounded too good to be true, but now I am on the other side and can say that it really is that great.
Dana was so helpful as I was debating between two colors and she helped me make a final decision. Also, I was SO impressed with the performance fabrics. I tested all the swatches by pouring red juice on them and it just beaded up and wiped right off - amazing! The couch is so comfortable and arrived in exactly 6 weeks - unheard of for custom furniture. The chaise is the best part and was so much more affordable than other chaise sectionals I was looking at. My only regret is not getting the chaise on both ends or an even larger sectional - the chaise is definitely the most coveted seat!
Long story short, you can't go wrong with this couch or this company. I am not an "influencer" nor connected to this company in any way - just someone who paid full price for the sofa and still feels like they got an incredible deal. I live in a small apartment so unfortunately I don't have room for other large pieces at this point, but I'll definitely be a repeat customer down the road!
From beginning to end this was an experience that exceeded our expectations! The website, the free and quick swatches, the communications with Dana, the progress emails and the white glove delivery! We ordered The Irving in Chestnut Leather and we love it! Great structure, sleek style, amazing comfort. We are also very pleased with the quality of the leather. This piece looks so much more expensive than it is too!!
I received my Tuscan leather Irving sectional about a month ago and I absolutely love it. The leather is high quality and supple, the cushions hold their shape excellently, and the construction of the piece is far superior to the furniture I had before. I hope it lasts for years, and I think the leather will age very well. The customer service was also phenomenal - I had several questions, was considering a custom construction, and requested many swatches, and Dana was prompt and accommodating with all her responses.
I just purchased a 60" version of "The Irving" sofa for my studio apartment and I absolutely love it. I opted for performance tweed fabric in the "Char" color. It feels incredibly comfortable while at the same time durable. I am excited for Maiden Home to expand their catalog and I look forward to buying my next piece!
The process from start to finish was great! Free samples came quickly, Dana was very helpful and knowledgeable. Delivery persons were professional and timely. I had a post delivery question for which I received no response to my emails. When I then called her response was immediate. Only later did I realize their email responses had been routed to my trash. This was a stress-free, fun and great way to purchase furniture.
