Shipping

Maiden Home will provide a shipping address and PO# 24 hours after order placement. We cannot provide this information prior to order placement. Failure to include the required PO# will delay your order's lead time.

You are responsible for communicating that your fabric has shipped to the address provided by Maiden Home and for sharing the shipment tracking information. Failure to share this information will delay the production of your piece.

Your COM order will not go into production until your fabric has been received in our workroom.

Maiden Home is not responsible for the loss or damage of your fabric.

Requirements & Application

COM yardage must be sent to Maiden Home in one continuous piece. If your fabric has multiple cuts, Maiden Home must approve of the fabric before you place your order.

Striped, plaid, and other patterned fabrics may cause mismatched or distorted looks on tufted or patchwork pieces. For this reason, we do not recommend using them on select pieces.

Maiden Home’s artisan partners will choose the thread color that best resembles your COM fabric.

Railroaded patterns cannot be used when the frame of your desired piece is longer than the width of the fabric, which is typically 54"W to 56"W. In these cases, the fabric needs to be applied up-the-bolt and will run in a different direction than the fabric on the rest of the piece.

If you are using a non-railroaded fabric, our artisan partners may need to add seams to the tops of cushions or back pillows.

Maiden Home reserves the right to refrain from applying COM fabric that our artisan partners deem unusable, such as fabrics that require backing. If Maiden Home’s artisan partners deem your fabric unusable, Maiden Home will reimburse you $25/yard for the cost of your fabric. You will be responsible for return shipping fees.

Terms of Sale

Maiden Home is not responsible for the quality or durability of COM fabrics. Clients are responsible for fabric defects discovered during the upholstery process, including but not limited to fabric irregularities, seam slippage, and fabric bunching or wrinkling.

In the event that Maiden Home is solely responsible for the loss or damage to your fabric after it reaches Maiden Home’s artisan partners, you will be reimbursed the full cost of your yardage.
