Welcome to the website (hereinafter the “Site”) for Maiden Home, Inc. (“Maiden Home”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy informs you of our practices regarding collection, use and disclosure of personal information you may provide or Maiden Home may collect via the Site. Please be sure to read this entire Privacy Policy before using or submitting information to the Site. We respect your privacy, and we are committed to protecting your personal information. By accessing and using the Site, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
I. Personal Information We Collect
The following table identifies the personal information we collect from you, and our reasons for that collection. If a third party uses our Site or makes a purchase on your behalf, we may collect the following personal information from that third party.

Maiden Home respects the privacy of children, and does not knowingly or intentionally collect Personal Information from children under age 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not use the Site, or submit any Personal Information through this Site.
II. Personal Information We Collect Automatically
We collect information automatically through the Site, such as:
- Geolocation data,
- How you use and interact with the Site,
- Data on activities that you pursue through the Site, and other similar activities
- Device data, such as device type, browser, operating system, screen width/height, session ID
This information is used to provide you with the Site, to better understand our users and how they use the Site, and to improve the Site. This information may include Personal Information, including your IP (internet protocol) address and your geolocation.
The Site may collect such information through the use of cookies and navigational data:
- A “cookie” is a bit of information that a website sends to your web browser that helps the site remember information about you and your preferences.
- A “web beacon” is used to monitor your behavior when you visit a website, such as recording whether you have viewed a certain webpage.
- “Session” cookies are temporary bits of information that are erased once you exit your web browser window or otherwise turn your computer off. Session cookies are used to improve navigation on websites and to collect aggregate statistical information.
- “Navigational data” (“log files”, “server logs” and “clickstream” data) are used for system management, improvement of the Site content, market research, and communication of information to visitors.
We also use third-party services, such as Google Analytics, Meta, and others, which use cookies, pixels, and other similar technologies so we can better understand how users interact with the Site, improve your user experience while using the Site, and to offer you targeted advertisements about our products on other sites (including, for example, on Facebook, Google, and Pinterest). You can opt out of us sharing your personal information with third parties for the purpose of targeted advertising by following the instructions in Section V.2 below.

We use the Meta Pixel to track user engagement on our Site, and Meta uses that information to offer advertisements about our products to individuals that may be interested. Meta may also use that information for its own and others’ advertising purposes, in accordance with Meta’s Privacy Policy. You can view and adjust your ad settings on Facebook by following the instructions at this Facebook help page.
Do Not Track Signals
We do not track you or collect your information across third party websites or online services. Thus, we do not receive Do-Not-Track signals, or other similar signals. To the extent that we do receive any such signals, we will not comply with them as it is not an aspect of the functionality of our Site.
III. How We Share Your Information
We may share your Personal Information for the purposes described in this Section.

Personnel and Third Party Service Providers. We employ personnel and engage other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your personal information with them to provide products or services to you. Here are a few illustrative examples:
- All data that we receive is stored on servers hosted by Amazon Web Services.
- Vendors who assist with furniture preparation may need to know certain of your personal information in order to complete the transaction.
- We rely on carriers such as UPS and USPS to deliver our products to you. Those carriers will receive your real name and postal address.
- We rely on vendors such as Google and Meta to understand how users interact with our Site, and to offer our advertisements on third-party websites. See the “Personal Information We Collect Automatically” section above for more information.
- Shopify Platform. Our Site and payment processing runs through the Shopify platform. You can learn about Shopify’s information collection and use practices at the following website: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/customers.
- Business Transfers. If we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, personal information could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party.
- Legal Compliance. We reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information that we believe is necessary to comply with governmental requests, law enforcement or court orders, or enforce or apply our Terms and Conditions and other agreements.
- California Residents Under 16 Years of Age. California law requires us to confirm whether we have actual knowledge that we sell or “share” the personal information of users under 16 years of age, as those terms are defined under California law. We do not ask for age information or verification from visitors to our Site, and thus do not knowingly sell or “share” the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age. We do not disclose personal information except as stated in this Section III.
IV. Consumer Rights
You may exercise certain privacy rights related to your Personal Information, depending on where you reside. You may exercise these rights free of charge except as otherwise permitted under applicable law. We may limit our response to your exercise of these privacy rights as permitted under applicable law. Where applicable law allows, you may have the right to know, access, correct, and/or delete Personal Information about you which we have collected.
The Right to Know/Access: You have the right to know the information contained in this Privacy Policy and to request access to a copy of the Personal Information that Maiden Home has collected about you directly or indirectly, including Personal Information collected by a service provider or contractor on our behalf.
The Right to Correct: In certain circumstances, you have the right to request correction of any inaccurate Personal Information. Upon verifying the validity of a verifiable correction request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct your Personal Information as directed, taking into account the nature of the Personal Information and the purposes of maintaining your Personal Information.
The Right to Delete: You have the right to request that Maiden Home delete your Personal Information, subject to certain limited exceptions. For example, we may retain an archived copy of your records consistent with applicable law, to continue to provide our Site and products and services, or for other legitimate business purposes.
2. The Right to Opt-out of the Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
We rely on certain vendors to offer you targeted advertising on their websites (e.g., on Facebook and Instagram). You have the right to opt out of our sharing of your personal information for the purposes of this targeted advertising. If you do choose to opt out, your preference will apply specifically to the device and browser you are using. If you visit the Site using a different browser or device, you will need to indicate your preferences for that browser/device. 3. The Right to Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information
We do not collect Sensitive Personal Information.
4. The Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising these consumer rights, including by (a) denying you goods or services; (b) charging different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of discounts or other benefits or imposing penalties; or (c) providing you a different level or quality of goods or services (or suggesting that we will do so).
Verification
Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to determine you are the same person about whom we have the information in our system. These verification efforts require us to ask you to provide information so that we can match it with information you have previously provided us. For instance, depending on the type of request you submit, we may ask you to provide certain information so that we can match the information you provide with the information we already have on file, or we may contact you through a communication method (e.g. phone or email) that you have previously provided to us. We may also use other verification methods as the circumstances dictate.
We will only use personal information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request. To the extent possible, we will avoid requesting additional information from you for the purposes of verification. If, however, we cannot verify your identity from the information already maintained by us, we may request that you provide additional information for the purposes of verifying your identity, and for security or fraud-prevention purposes. We will delete such additionally provided information as soon as we finish verifying you.
V. Storing Your Information
We use commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your Personal Information.
We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Maiden Home or guarantee that your information on the Site may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
We will only retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for. For example, we will retain certain of your Personal Information as necessary to respond to questions or requests you may have for Furniture you purchased, and to comply with our warranty obligations. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which we process your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements. In some circumstances we may anonymize your Personal Information (so that it can no longer be associated with you) in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
VI. Text Messaging Policy
Text Messaging
By submitting your phone number and agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you agree to receive Maiden Home text messaging alerts (“Text Messaging Service”). Maiden Home may send periodic texts that could include marketing and non-marketing information. Consent to receive non-marketing or marketing text messages is not required to purchase any products or services from Maiden Home. Messaging and data rates may apply.
Frequency of Text Messages
The number and frequency of text messages sent to your device may vary depending on your relationship with Maiden Home (for example, if you have enrolled in a Maiden Home program), and whether you have asked for help or support via text messaging.
No Guarantee
Maiden Home is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, or misdirected messages, including (but not limited to) undelivered messages resulting from any form of filtering by your mobile carrier or service provider or otherwise.
Carriers
Supported carriers include all major United States carriers including, AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile®, Sprint, and others.
Termination
Maiden Home reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend any or all of the Text Messaging Service, in whole or in part, for any reason, with or without notice to you.
Changes to Text Messaging Policy
Maiden Home may revise, modify, or amend the terms of this Text Messaging Policy at any time.
VII. Changes to this Privacy Policy
Maiden Home reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time, with or without notice to you. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective on the “Effective Date” indicated above. If you continue to use the Site after the Effective Date, you consent to the new Privacy Policy. Maiden Home will always have the latest Privacy Policy posted on the Site.
