Frame
The Mercer's graphic steel frame is handcrafted by a third-generation blacksmith in North Carolina. Its matte black powdercoat finish provides subtle texture and long-lasting resistance to scratches and wear.
Seat
Interwoven strips of rubber webbing form the Mercer's seating foundation. This technique offers maximum comfort and durability in a slim profile.
Cushion
The Mercer's seat cushion features a core of high-resiliency foam wrapped with a layer of microfiber for a structured, supportive sit. The generous depth and elegant recline lend incredible comfort to this polished piece.
Shipping & Returns

Shipping
Once production of your piece is complete, it will be picked up from our partner’s workroom and transported to a facility in your local area. This varies by location and typically takes 2-4 weeks. At this point, your piece is ready for delivery and you will be contacted by our white glove partners to schedule a date for your delivery. After you place your order, we will provide you with an estimate of when you will receiving your scheduling call based on your zip code. Feel free to reach out to our team prior to placing your order for an estimate of your shipping timeline.
White Glove Delivery
This piece is delivered via white glove service. A two-person delivery team will arrive during your scheduled time, bring your furniture into your room of choice, unpack it, and take all packaging with them.
Easy Returns
We are happy to accept returns on your piece within 30 days of delivery. If you aren't in love, we will arrange for our delivery partners to pick it up from your home. You will be refunded your entire purchase price minus 10%.
Note cancellations after 24 hours will also be charged a 10% fee.

The Mercer’s cushion features a high-resiliency Ultracel core with a microfiber wrap, which offers a structured and supportive seat.
How do I care for The Mercer Chair upholstered in shearling?
Our pure New Zealand shearling is sourced from Moore & Giles, one of America's oldest and most revered leather companies. In order to keep the luxe, touchable textural and natural dimension of shearling, we recommend the following special care and maintenance:
• Using an upholstery attachment with the rotary setting turned off, vacuum your shearling on the highest setting to remove any dust and debris.
• For spot cleaning, gently pat the stain using a mild liquid detergent and a damp sponge as quickly as possible.
• Use a soft towel to absorb any leftover moisture, avoiding rubbing the natural fibers. Never use bleach or cleaners containing enzymes.
• To remove knots and tangles, use a wooden bristle brush to revive natural texture.
• To avoid sun spots and fading, avoid exposure to direct sunlight and high heat.
• If deep cleaning is necessary, use a professional service specializing in leather or sheepskin.
