The long weekend ahead of us marks the kick-off to summer—and that usually means summer travel plans. But with vacations currently in flux, we’re planning a staycation to break up the routine while also instilling some much-needed R&R. Why not feel like a guest in your own home?

Breakfast is Served
Vacation usually means a chance to sleep in, so help little ones or guests in the house be self-sufficient by setting up an easy breakfast bar the night before to catch up on some much needed zzz’s. Bowls of granola, fresh flowers, and a handwritten note make a thoughtful, elevated statement and are a bright start to the day.

A Hotel-Inspired Bathroom
There’s just something about a hotel bathroom—the slippers, the plush robes, and the beautifully packaged toiletries you’ll always find room in your luggage to take home with you. Use this weekend to break out those toiletries, lay out plush bath linens and slippers, and add luxurious touches like a natural sponge to your regular bath routine.

Nightstand Dressing
We love hotel stays for many reasons, but it’s all of the little touches that make us feel like a special guest. Recreate those touches at home by placing a luxe water carafe and chocolates next to your bed, alongside a vase of your favorite flowers, a good book, an eye mask, and a phone charger within easy reach. Clear off all other clutter to feel transported back to your favorite hotel.
