Frame
Kiln-dried hardwood is precision-cut for a frame that'll never twist, warp or crack. Joints are glued, double-doweled and corner-blocked for extra stability.
Seat
Rows of heavy gauge steel sinuous springs offer incredible support in a slim profile.
Cushion
A high-resiliency core is wrapped in a jacket of silky microfiber for a structured sit with just the right amount of give.

Production
Your piece will be made to order by our craftsmen partners. You’ll receive Build Updates along the way, so you’ll be able to follow along as your piece comes to life.
Shipping
Once production of your piece is complete, it will be picked up from our partner’s workroom and transported to a facility in your local area. This varies by location and typically takes 2-4 weeks. At this point, your piece is ready for delivery and you will be contacted by our white glove partners to schedule a date for your delivery. After you place your order, we will provide you with an estimate of when you will receiving your scheduling call based on your zip code. Feel free to reach out to our team prior to placing your order for an estimate of your shipping timeline.
White Glove Delivery
This piece is delivered via white glove service. A two-person delivery team will arrive during your scheduled time, bring your furniture into your room of choice, unpack it, and take all packaging with them.
Easy Returns
We are happy to accept returns on your piece within 30 days of delivery. If you aren't in love, we will arrange for our delivery partners to pick it up from your home. You will be refunded your entire purchase price minus 10%.
Note cancellations after 24 hours will also be charged a 10% fee.
What is The Perry’s cushion and foundation composed of?
The Perry’s cushion features a high-resiliency Ultracel core with a microfiber wrap, which offers a structured and supportive seat. Rows of heavy gauge sinuous steel springs form the seating foundation.
What are the legs made out of and what finish options are available?
Our artisan partners hand select each material for its beauty and unique character. The Perry’s legs are expertly handcrafted using solid maple, a robust Appalachian hardwood. Our maple wood is domestically sourced from forests in the eastern United States and has been certified and verified sustainable by the US forest Association.
The Perry’s legs are completed with your choice of four lacquered hues specially finished to highlight the natural grain and character of the wood. Due to the natural materials used, each piece will possess a unique, one-of-a-kind character and may slightly vary.
Can I order wood finish samples?
Wood finish samples for The Perry are available for order here. Please note, variation in grain and texture is to be expected between your wood sample and final piece, given the natural materials used. We’ll be happy to refund your swatch purchase less 10% for handling if returned within 30 days of the original ship date.
Are legs removable for delivery on The Perry Chair?
The maple legs on The Perry Chair are integral to the handcrafted frame and are not removable for delivery.
Can I special order a swatch of the shearling?
Shearling swatches are available to special order here for $5 per swatch. Please note, some variation in the texture and color is to be expected between your swatch and final piece, given the natural content of the sheepskin material.
How do I care for The Perry Chair upholstered in Shearling?
Our pure New Zealand shearling is sourced from Moore & Giles, one of America's oldest and most revered leather companies. In order to keep the luxe, touchable textural and natural dimension of shearling, we recommend the following special care and maintenance:
- Using an upholstery attachment with the rotary setting turned off, vacuum your shearling on the highest setting to remove any dust and debris.
- For spot cleaning, gently pat the stain using a mild liquid detergent and a damp sponge as quickly as possible.
- Use a soft towel to absorb any leftover moisture, avoiding rubbing the natural fibers. Never use bleach or cleaners containing enzymes.
- To remove knots and tangles, use a wooden bristle brush to revive natural texture.
- To avoid sun spots and fading, avoid exposure to direct sunlight and high heat.
- If deep cleaning is necessary, use a professional service specializing in leather or sheepskin.
