A Celebration of Craft in Miami
To celebrate Art Basel, we welcomed close friends and members of the trade at Maiden Home Miami for a festive evening honoring craft in all its forms. Makers from the textile, botanical, and culinary disciplines joined us, transforming their mediums into works of art and filling the space with creative energy.
A velvet drapery installation by New York artist Tina Mamkegh swept through the space, concealing and revealing rich textures and architectural details.
Botanical artist Hamish Powell filled the flagship with sculptural arrangements made from local moss and Anthurium.
Chef Ksenia Radkevich’s handcrafted chocolate pebbles were served throughout the night alongside Alaskan crab cookies and nori crackers.
A conversation about technique, creativity, and the people who make beautiful design possible—in the world of handcrafted furniture and beyond—carried through the night, making the evening a fitting way to welcome Art Basel.
