5/5 | Gorgeous - a conversation piece for sure!
This is easily the coolest and most beautiful piece of furniture we have ever owned. I will note it’s incredibly heavy - like super duper heavy - all solid wood, not mdf so have the delivery folks place it where you want it. The angles and the wood are so beautiful. Almost to a man when someone comes over we have a conversation about the sofa and where we got it … kinda don’t want to leave a review about this sofa because I don’t want it to become too popular and for everyone to find out about it!!!

I just received my pieces (Muir 100 inch sofa, Wythe 44 inch queen bed, and the Bowery coffee table/ ottoman. I could not be happier. They arrived right when estimated and even with a small delivery glitch which was handled very well with customer service. I felt I was kept very informed and they took care of correcting the issue. The pieces are not only beautiful but very well made and high quality. I would recommend Maiden Home, I found them so much easier and more.reliable than any of the any of the big name furniture companies that I have dealt with. my primary concern was the cushions would slip around but the bench cushion is very heavy and that really hasnt been an issue at all. been careful to use coasters on the side table part but not always great about that and its held in great at least a few months. overall its a beautiful piece. the delivery team was courteous and it took them a bit to figure out the assembly but i think it was their first time having put one together - other than that was a very fine experience. would certainly recommend and will shop with maidenhome again.

The Muir Sofa has definitely exceeded my expectations. I bought it based solely on the look. Not only is it beautiful but also extremely comfortable. I bought the natural ash + performance boucle’ in polar. I have it in my office and enjoy taking zoom calls from it or taking a mid day reading/tea break. Thank you Maiden Home :)

5/5 | High quality and comfortable statement piece
I purchased the Muir Sofa in Performance Linen - Oyster with the Natural Ash finish. What a statement piece! The solid wood frame is beautifully crafted and incredibly high quality. I was originally hesitant in purchase a wood platform sofa because I was concerned with how comfortable it would be. I was so pleasantly surprised to find this sofa is incredibly comfortable! The pitched backrest combined with the plush cushions provide the perfect balance of sink-in comfort and support. This was my second Maiden Home purchase and I continue to be impressed by their design and quality. I look forward to my next purchase from them!

5/5 | Everyone who visits loves it
It’s as beautiful in person as it looks online. Every person that visits my house compliments it , and I love that you can use the arm to show off a personality piece - such as a vase, coffee table books, a small hide, etc. I was concerned it wouldn’t be comfortable and that the seat pillow might slide, but there was nothing to worry about it. It’s super comfortable to lounge on, and the pillow has a tie-down so there’s no concerns there.

the couch pad slips even though it's tied to the couch w/ an elastic band. we used a rug anti-slip pad which seemed to solve that problem

The Muir sectional is is the most unusual and beautiful sofa I've ever seen. And you can sleep on it. It's exceptionally comfortable. Lovely and solid, but somehow there's a sense of lightness to it - and space to vacuum underneath. It is really perfect.

I bought this site unseen for our home in Montana but it’s stunning and well constructed. The cushion is very heavy and doesn’t slide and it fits with the modern ranch aesthetic of our home so beautifully. So glad I discovered this piece.

I love this sofa!! I sit on it every day in our den, watching tv, reading or sitting with my dogs. I love how deep the seat is; perfect for lounging. I also love that it's low to the ground because it compliments our cozy, high pile rug! The high performance tweedy-fabric has stood the test of time (about 6 months now) with my dogs who are eager to scratch at it. It's a design statement.

100inch muir in performance linen. this is an absolute stunner and in watching the delivery men assemble it - it is truly a high quality piece that fits together so elegantly. Admittedly, I bought this for the design and statement after falling in love with the pictures and its absolutely spikes on those elements. The bench cushion is gorgeous and very hefty - I had some concern about sliding but the cushion is so heavy (as is the sofa by the way, would not want to have to move this thing) that its not been a problem for us at all. I find the pitch of the back and the softness of the cushion, make this a surprisingly comfortable seat and of course the built in side table is a nice bonus too. highly recommend maiden home.

3/5 | Gorgeous piece with design flaw
This couch is truly beautiful. I bought the 90-inch model in driftwood and performance linen in creme. As the other reviewer notes though, the cushion does not stay in place and it makes it very difficult to get comfortable on the sofa. It also requires constant reconstruction. I plan to purchase a slipmat and hope it minimizes the issue, but agree that for the cost that it is a frustrating flaw. Otherwise, it is the statement piece we wanted.

3/5 | Beautiful but slides
Love the sofa's look and it's more comfortable than I would have thought it to be. However, the cushion does not stay in place and it gets bothersome. Purchasing a slipmat is helpful but for the cost it's a frustrating functionality issue.
Purchased the denim chambray with pecan wood. It is very easy to clean.

We like the construction quality and the look of the piece, but the cushions, especially the seat is already sagging in. It’s been barely a month in and I see a dip in the seat cushion. Might have to get that replaced or something.

1/5 | Service leaving a lot to be desired
In the first week of March, 5 months after placing my order, I received my $13,000 sofa, but one piece had a foot-long crack in it and a cushion that was wrinkly and ill-fitting. Maiden home has been working with me to coordinate replacements, but it's been over a month. They lost my fabric sample (a pillow cushion cover) which means we have to do a bunch of back-and-forth sample mailing to find a color match. I got a re-delivered piece a month later and the delivery team completely destroyed my walls moving it up and down the stairwell. It's really awful. Because I didn't flag this within a very restrictive 24 hours after the delivery, Maiden home won't help resolve repairs to my wall. Very disappointed that Maiden home is trying to pass responsibility on a wall repair after I had given them $13,000—an insane amount for a piece of furniture.

1/5 | Poor quality for the price
I received my Muir sofa about 6 months ago, and should have written this review sooner. Less than one month after receiving the piece the seams on the wood started to separate and crack. I ordered mine in the black finish so the cracks are especially visible. The upholstery on the main cushion is sewn off grain and the seams are out of alignment. It looks cheaply made, and I am not pleased with the overall quality at all. The cushions slide off of the platform easily and should have some way to be secured so this does not happen.
