I’ve had my eye on the Ludlow in Performance Linen Oyster for a long time and when we decided to refurnish our living room, I had to give it a try. I love that Maiden Home sends you free (BIG) swatches which made choosing a fabric much much easier. I also couldn’t have done without the comfort guide because I’m usually easily swayed by style BUT for this couch I needed it to be comfortable. I was initially hesitant with the tufted back (I even inquired about changing my order after I placed it), not because of its look, but because I thought not having back pillows would make the couch less comfy, but boy was I wrong. The back of the tufted couch is so soft and plush, way beyond my expectations. The couch is so beautifully designed and stylish and the custom size options are wonderful. The quality for the price really cannot be beaten. Dana was amazing throughout the whole process with personal attention and quick response times. Setting up delivery was a breeze. I’m already eying up a chair to compliment my new sofa and everyone that sees the Ludlow asks where I bought it. You really will not regret this purchase!

I was in the market for a new sofa and went to soooo many furniture stores and websites that all of the sofas started to look the same. I forgot how I came across Maiden Home but I fell in love with the Ludlow. After nervously picking out sizing and color without seeing a sample in a store, I took the plunge and ordered the Ludlow 95". It was completely worth it! The quality of the upholstery and seat cushions are meant to last and at the same time completely beautiful and functional at the same time! I live in a NYC apartment so space is always an issue and the Ludlow is perfect. It's a beautiful piece of furniture that when lying or sitting on, it feels very roomy and yet the profile doesn't take up my entire living space...I'm not sure how they did it! Dana was wonderful and answered all of my questions. I'm now, eyeing another piece...

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing and felt very confident in the product I had found at Maiden Home. We were not disappointed. The couches are beautiful! They are very heavy and sturdy. I have two young boys who put them to the test on a daily basis. We chose the creme performance linen and love our choice. We've had absolutely no issues getting chocolate and yogurt and who knows what else out of the couches. Approximately 5 months ago we noticed a slight defect that occurred around one of the tufted buttons. I took pictures and emailed Maiden Home customer service. It was determined that the problem could not be fixed with a craftsman in our home so Maiden Home arranged for our couch to be picked up and a new one delivered! WOW! Find a company that stands behind their furniture like this. It doesn't exist outside of Maiden Home. I give my absolute highest recommendation and rating. I will never purchase couches from another company. They stand behind their work because they know it's quality. If you're on the fence about purchasing, take the plunge.

Purchased the 85" Ludlow in Performance Linen Creme with pecan wood finishes, one cushion "bench" seat, and it is superb! High quality and very comfortable lofty, cozy seating. We bought the Ludlow sofa in amber mohair and really love it. Communication was good even during the pandemic and we love the quality. It has held up well against pets and it really is both perfect to entertain and nap on!

The Ludlow in olive velvet is in my den and I am very happy with it. After many years of neutral, beige linen sofas, having a piece in a color and texture is a welcome change. The sofa is comfortable and the customer service was excellent!

There aren't enough stars to truly represent the amazing client experience and satisfaction we have with Maiden Home. We were EXTREMELY apprehensive about placing a furniture order online. After a great deal of independent research on furniture construction, numerous email communications with Dana and tens of swatches, my husband+I placed our order. Follow-on emails kept us apprised of our furniture-build process. When the time came, the delivery company was personable and flexible. The gentlemen who delivered our pieces were very careful, respectful, and thorough in explaining our particular pieces (the connection of the chaise to the sofa and how to move it...if we needed to...and why). They also had great personalities. The furniture is beautiful and comfortable. The Ludlow w/chaise in Merino Heather Gray and the Leroy in Performance Tweed Smoke make a striking combination. We wanted cat-friendly, cruelty-free fabrics (indeed, it's what has dictated all previous furniture purchases)...with impeccable quality+design (that we've never been able to find previously). The entire family, including our cats, enjoy these pieces immensely. So happy to have found Maiden Home (MH)! We will most definitely turn first to MH for future furniture purchases (ummmm, on the look out for a coffee and nesting side table!) ;)

My husband and I bought the Ludlow this past fall and absolutely love it! It is so comfortable, and the cushions are belted in place (underneath the seat cushions) with detachable hooks which allows them stay in place (such a good idea!) Recently we needed to replace one of the hooks, and I reached out and they set me up with someone from the furniture company to come and fix it within a week or so, which was incredible. Thank you all so much!!

We are thrilled with the quality of the (2) Ludlow Sofa's we purchased for our client in California. The style is versatile, feminine and is extremely high end. We received automated email updates letting us know where the order was in the process and exactly what was being done to each sofa. It was an easy way to keep our client updated as well without having to take the time to constantly reach out. We purchased two Ludlow sofas from Maiden Home and we are in L O V E. It is apparent that they are very well made, especially compared to our old sofas purchased from a local furniture store. It can be somewhat unnerving to buy furniture online without seeing it in person, however what Maiden Home portrays online is the real deal. The white glove delivery service was perfect, prompt and professional. Everybody who has seen our sofas have been impressed with the quality, comfort and design.

I've been looking everywhere for the perfect soda for our first home and the Ludlow was just that. We got the 90" length and its perfect for having people over or just lazing on it all Sunday long. I'm already planning what my next piece of furniture from Maiden Home will be. I've also had exceptional customer experience and I should give a shoutout to Dana for all her help from picking out the sofa to making sure everything's well and good after. One of the buckles from our cushion had come off and she promptly arranged for someone to come fix it for us. Thanks Dana! My only complaint would be that since the arms are low and thin, its hard to prop up a pillow/cushion on the side and lie down on the side. Hope this helps XX

Last year I was looking for a new sofa for myself. I went to all the typical places I go for my clients within my price point, but I I just wasn’t finding the special sofa I was looking for. Bought the 90” in salt tweed. Beautiful, well crafted, still white after watermelon and chocolate cake, and deep enough for movie night. In this case you don’t get what you pay for, you get much much more.

The sofa is beautiful as well as comfortable. Easy to clean, esp. with a small dog who loves to jump on it to nap. I like that it came in a number of sizes as I needed a smaller sofa.

I purchased the Ludlow in stone pebbled leather and it is simply beautiful. It's in a smaller space next to the kitchen which we are using for the TV area, so the back is against a wall. It is such a stunning piece of furniture, I rather not hide the back but it was purchased specifically for this space and the size is perfect. The cushions are firmer than I would prefer and hope they break in a bit over time. I agree with many that buying a sofa online can be challenging however, as an interior designer, I will not hesitate to recommend Maiden Home for the quality I see in the Ludlow. That said, I do not have experience with the other sofas in their line, or fabrics other than this gorgeous leather.

I ordered 2 ludlows in Creme performance linen for the new home I was building. I can’t tell you how long I agonized over this selection. After I placed the order I worried that the creme would be too brown and that the sizing wouldn’t be right. The moment I laid eyes on them I breathed a huge sigh of relief. They’re gorgeous! And so comfortable! Very happy with my purchase.

We’ve had our couches for 6 months now and we love them! They are so soft and comfortable. My daughter spilled some juice on them and it came out with just water. And we get so many compliments when people come over. But even better than the couches is the customer service. When our delivery first arrived I noticed a tear in the underside fabric. They sent a repair person out and it was like new in a couple of days. And then a few months after purchase, one of the buttons on the back popped out. Again, a repair person was sent and in minutes it looked brand new again. For that reason alone I will buy more furniture from Maiden Home in the future.

We love our Ludlow sofa. We ordered the 90" in Merino granite and upgraded to a single bench cushion for the look we were hoping for. It's a gorgeous couch. The seat is deep enough to curl up on but supportive enough to sit upright very comfortably. The merino is soft to the touch, like a very soft flannel or chamois feel. We ordered the pecan stain for the legs which looks a little more painted on than real wood. That we don't love but it's minor. If we were to do it again, I think we'd order a darker stain for the legs. We had very good communication from customer service throughout. A couple of weeks before the projected delivery we were informed that there was a fabric issue that didn't pass inspection and delivery would be delayed another month. But in the end we received the couch within days of the original delivery window. Very happy with the quality, design, price and service. Would definitely do it all again.

I recovered the other pieces and the room is light, airy and beautiful. The centerpiece is the Ludlow sofa. It's elegant - timeless - substantial yet airy. With free swatches and a great return policy I ordered with confidence but still felt a bit foolish for ordering a couch from a manufacturer I had never heard of - sight unseen. The delivery was flawless and the piece perfectly made. The upolstery lays flat and the cushions comfortable. Nap worthy for sure. Well done, Maiden Home - I hope you are around for a long time.

We've had a Ludlow in Marine since March 2018. I wanted to wait a few months before posting a review and I can tell you that this was great purchase! We are very happy we bought our sofa from Maiden Home! It's extremely well made. Seats are soft and supportive. Fabric is very soft and comfortable, as well. The design is sharp. I will definitely come back to MH for high quality furniture.

Just received our Ludlow sofa and am in love! Fabric is lovely - workmanship meticulous. Frame is well designed and well proportioned. Order process was easy. Swatches came very quickly. Delivery was flawless and on time. Website easy to navigate. Customer service responses within minutes. Getting updates has been wonderful. I am a designer with 15 years under my belt and have worked with many, many vendors - Maiden Home is by far one of the best I have encountered and I am happy to continue to do business with them. It has been a pleasure from order to delivery. I have since ordered 2 additional sofas and a chair for a model home and am excited to see those. Same service level with these additional orders. We have had our Ludlow sofa in gray for several months now. It has been very accommodating to our family in our TV room as it is long enough to easily seat four. The Ludlow is quite firm, which we like, and deep. It is deeper than our other sofa. It is a very comfortable sofa to sleep on for these two reasons. I love the design of the sofa, too. Overall, it is a hit!

Firstly - very glad to have found Maiden Home. The customer service rivals the quality of the piece and that is hard to do. It has been a fantastic experience end-to-end and I'm thankful that, though I don't have much space in my apartment, the Ludlow occupies most of it. the swatches were quickly shipped making the decision process quick and easy. I chose champagne and it turned out BEAUTIFUL. The fabric is so thick and strong. I have a toddler and a big dog, though i don’t allow my dog on the couch. It is sturdy and well made. The hooks that keep the cushions in place are sooo helpful. As a designer who has worked in the field for 12 yrs (a few of them in a family owned re-upholstery shop), I have seen many sofas. Many of the custom ones cost 5K+ and are incredibly comfortable (as well as durable) and have lead times of 8-12weeks. The less expensive options (3K and below) usually are super stylish and come quickly but over time the cushions turn to pancakes, the fabric pulls and doesn't hold up, and you usually end up wanting to give it away within 5 years because it "looks bad". I hadn't heard of anyone else using Maiden Home, but after reading how the pieces are made (from sources that don't cut corners) and offer Crypton fabric (typically a trade only material), I was sold. The samples came quickly and were impressive. The customer service was AMAZING and were helpful (especially when you need a kid+cat+dog proof fabric). The best part was the delivery. First, the delivery company they use is very professional and careful (giving me lots of updates about when they would be there). Then once I sat down, I was convinced I just got a 6K sofa! The comfort and quality is really that high! And typically with custom pieces, I have to call to check up on the production process to update my client. But with Maiden Homes, they keep you in the loop (not the other way around). I plan on using Maiden Homes for many future clients because I know that years from now, they will still love the pieces they bought.

I purchased the Ludlow sofa in Navy Chevron and I absolutely love it. It's so stylish and incredibly comfortable. Plus, it's made in the USA which is important to me. The whole process was seamless--from receiving fabric samples, to experimenting with the fabric and wood combinations on the website, to placing my order and finally, the white glove delivery. I appreciated the weekly status update emails as my sofa was built, the follow up email to make sure I was happy with my purchase, and the handwritten thank you note. This was my first experience with custom built furniture and I'd gladly order from Maiden Home again.

I’ve had the ludlow sectional in lagoon for about two months now, and it is simply perfect. I was looking for a comfortable sectional for our living room that would also look beautiful enough to stand up to the beautiful Victorian history & character we’re lucky to have in our living room. The back is pitched back to make this super loungeable. My husband (6’2”) can comfortably lay on the chaise without his feet dangling off, and I (5’3”) love to sit cross legged in the deep seats. The cushions stay in place, and the back is a nice mix between firm (so it always looks very neat) but just cushy enough to be very comfortable. The velvet is soft, and thus far our two cats haven’t been too interested in clawing it.

We purchased the Ludlow (95" - chenille Alabaster with bench cushion upgrade) and Sullivan (90" Velvet taupe) sofas for our formal living room and we absolutely love them! Both sofas are extremely comfortable and great quality. We took the back cushions off our Sullivan and are using them in other places around the house because we felt the cushions (while they are very well made) took up a lot of valuable real estate. We wanted the couch to feel as deep and lounge-y as possible and that did the trick! The sofa is still incredibly comfortable even without the back cushions and lovely for napping or cuddling up with hubby :) Would highly recommend upgrading to the bench cushion option as well. We are easily able to fit 4-5 people on the Ludlow comfortably because no cracks in the cushions! We shopped around A LOT before deciding on Maiden Home and were willing to spend twice the price for good quality furniture but are so so happy with our decision. The couches are hands down the best purchase we have made for our new home! And the ordering and delivery experience could not have gone more smoothly. Thank you Maiden Home for offering such amazing quality furniture for a reasonable price, all from the comfort of our homes!

I was nervous about buying a couch sight unseen, but the Ludlow delivered! It's a stunning piece, and clearly well-made. Buying a couch made in North Carolina was high on my list when shopping for a couch. I'm pleased that Maiden Home utilizes talented craftspeople in my home state! I selected a Performance Tweed, which has done well with my dog, who spends 80% of her day on the couch! Also, Maiden Home's customer service is great!
