I bought the sullivan couch in denim Performance Tweed (80") for our apartment in Brooklyn, NY and honestly, I'm obsessed. We've had it for about 5 months now, and even though the long seat cushion has down feathers in it - so squishy and comfy - it always looks super sharp and hasn't slumped the way my old sofa did (West Elm). This is so important since our living room is also where we host guests, have family over, etc. I'm petite, but my partner is about 6'2" and we both love it. I don't feel like I'm drowning in depth (my feet can touch the ground, etc) and he can properly curl up. The quality and craftsmanship is so obvious when you have it in your home. We have chairs from a lower-end big box store in our living room, and when you sit in them, you can totally tell the difference. Here's the thing though, I'm obsessed with this fabric. It is soft and cozy and repels stains like I've honestly never seen, but I just cannot get over the color. I was so scared getting what I think is a pretty true indigo blue, but it looks so beautiful in our space. The tweed material is also just dreamy. It has a cool variated texture and just begs you to curl up with a book or movie. Maiden Home is the real deal - it's so clear to me that they care about their customers, even got a handwritten note from the founder thanking me for my purchase. I'm in.

I bought two 90" Sullivan sofas in Cloud Performance Tweed late last spring and decided to wait a year to write a review to see how the sofas held up with use. After a year they look like new given the occasional rotation of seat and back cushions to ensure even wear. They are beautiful and extremely comfortable! Many others have commented on the great purchase experience with status updates, delivery and customer service. Maiden Home truly delivers exceptional product and a wonderful customer relationship from end to end. I was hesitant about buying furniture over the internet but the product value is worth it and would definitely recommend their furniture!

We absolutely love our white Sullivan custom sized sectional. After MUCH research, we found Maiden Home and knew immediately that this was the company we wanted to use. Being very type A, it was nerve wracking custom sizing a very large u shaped sectional online and site unseen. We are a family of 5- 3 kids age 9,10,12 and very active and yet I wanted a white sofa to keep a lighter look in the room with such a large piece. The fabric is phenomenal - durable and stands up to 3 kids and their friends. Maiden home worked w us patiently while we figured out dimensions and fabric and pillow sizing. It was a great experience. We would highly recommend them and will be back to order our next big piece down the road.

After being disappointed by the quality and comfort of our previous couches, we were looking for a beautiful and comfortable piece for our family to relax on in the living room. We did lots of research and finally settled on the Sullivan in Sapphire Velvet. When I saw it come off the delivery truck, it took my breath away - this couch is stunning! The bench cushion makes it super comfortable to cuddle up and lay down on, and the back cushions are so well constructed that they don't slouch and look sloppy like every other loose cushion couch I've ever seen. It looks and feels far more expensive than it was and every guest we've had since purchasing has commented on how much they love it. The customer service was impressive every step of the way - Dana answered my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly and all communication was excellent. Production was faster than I would expect for a custom piece of this quality. Highly recommend this company, we will be loyal lifelong customers!

What a beautiful and comfortable sofa! We didn't know what to fully expect ordering an on-line sofa sight unseen. The entire process exceeded expectations ... from ordering fabric samples to final (on-time!) delivery. The quality of the piece is exceptional. Couldn't be happier and hope to enjoy it for many years.

We researched every online furniture option available. We had just moved and we’re hoping for a sofa that we didn’t have to wait a long time to received. We almost didn’t go with Maiden Home after hearing it was a 10-12 week delivery time. However, after receiving the watches and emailing with Dana a few times, we were sold. We selected a Sullivan sectional and absolutely love it. It arrived today and our entire family loves it. Thanks to Dana for the excellent service and assistance with sizing and materials. We received our sectional sooner than expected. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and we would highly recommend Maiden Home!

Our whole family loves the Sullivan sectional and fabric. I would absolutely buy from them again. Delivery left much to be desired. Didn’t arrive during the time frame they said, nor call 30 minutes ahead like they said they do. What bothered me most though was one of the delivery men literally wore his whole mask on purpose, below his chin leaving him huffing and puffing throughout our home during a pandemic. The second had it on properly. Everything from Maiden Home was great, but I was very annoyed that it fell apart in the end of the transaction with outsourcing the delivery and a lack of concern for the customers time and health of my family. I still give the furniture 5 stars though. Thank you!

Best purchase ever!

We ordered the Sullivan sofa in Oyster Linen (95") online at the recommendation of our designer. I was extremely skeptical about buying such a large piece online sight unseen. We received emails every step of the process introducing us to the craftsman and outlining the process (that was very fun). Our sofa arrived and the beautiful lines and craftsmanship are stunning in our Loft Apartment. Very happy with our purchase.

I am absolutely thrilled with my new Sullivan Sectional! I work in the interior design business and have been on the hunt for the perfect sofa for my own home, as well as something that I could whole heartedly recommend to my clients. I design for the average family, where the furniture needs to not only be beautiful, but also durable enough to handle the daily wear of kids and pets. I was committed to a sustainable selection, so was confident in my choice. The design and comfort was an unexpected joy. It is a lovely, class, yet comfortable couch. It is deeper than my 5'4" frame sits on comfortably in an upright position, but 1) pillows fix that and 2) that's not how we use it. We lounge on it: sitting sideways to look at each other, or one of us lying comfortably to watch TV or read, with room for the cat. It is a classy piece that lets be relaxed. And best of all, the cat has never once considered it a scratching ost because of the lovely blue velvet covering. This is not the velvet you've always avoided. This is a comfortable, inviting fabric that holds up beautifully.

I had my eye on The Sullivan Sectional (115" x 115") for quite some time. I was nervous to initially place the order because it was a big purchase without being able to see the product in person. Dana was amazing and incredibly reassuring for my concerns. My biggest concern was my cats' claws and the fabric; they previously made our former sofa their personal scratching post. The Oatmeal Performance Tweed fabric has been nothing short of amazing. Our cats do not scratch the fabric and the fabric wipes clean when our puppy runs into the house and leaps on the sofa before getting her paws wiped. The updates for each piece of the manufacturing was extremely insightful. I'm not sure if this is due to the sofa cushions being new but the edge of each bench juts out a tiny bit towards the middle sectional piece and I haven't quite figured out how to get it in line. I'm eager to purchase another piece by Maiden Home in the very near future.

We purchased the Sullivan as a sectional and had it shipped to Roatan Honduras to be used and enjoyed in our newly renovated vacation home. Even in the days of Covid the service and quality never wavered. Once we finally got to see it, sink into it, and run our hands across the fabric we knew we made the right decision. When we were looking to purchase 2 sofas from Maiden Home Dana suggested we try the Mist fabric, which is perfect in color and fabric for our tropical, warm, salty climate. We couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

Maiden Home is great. We LOVE our new Sullivan! The fabric is soft yet durable. The couch is lush, plush and ready for a night of binge watching. The care is easy; just a fluff or two and it's back to looking classic and fashionable. Delivery services were excellent. Maiden Home was there every step of the way. My family is enjoying the Sullivan, and we are planning on adding another piece in the near future.

I have nothing bad to say about this couch. I got the couch in the salt color, and my daughter already decided to wipe her chocolate hands on it. It wipes up with a wet rag with no effort. It’s comfy, gorgeous, and made extremely well. if you are having any doubts, don’t. Just get it!:)

My new sectional is everything I wanted! The fabric is gorgeous. The cushions are firm enough to sit upright with company and soft enough to lounge for movie watching. The performance fabric has already proven its abilities; the delivery man left a dirty palm print and it came right off with a damp microfiber cloth before they even finished placing it. The construction is so solid and because it’s custom, it fits beautifully in my room. This purchase was at the very top end of my budget and I am thrilled we went for it.

This sectional checked all the boxes: bench seating, sleek design, and low profile back. I read all the reviews prior to buying and decided on an oyster color - other reviewers had purchased this even having kids and pets, so I thought I’d give it a try. I thought that since it’s performance fabric, it would be ok - it’s turned me neurotic. I wouldn’t say it’s super easy to clean. I use the recommended dawn and water spray and it still looks dirty. Five stars for the couch but not the fabric color.

We searched high and low for a beautiful, sleek, comfortable, family friend couch with great value. This is it! Customer service was fantastic the entire time - working closely with myself and my interior designer to pick the best size/layout for my space. The swatches helped me pick what fabric/color to get. We have two toddlers and a dog so tested the swatches out with wine, drink, dirt etc. Everything came out with no issues with just a little water/dawn and blotting. Sure enough, within the first couple weeks of having the couch it has withstood all the usual child accidents! Will be ordering the coffee-table sized ottoman as well. Highly recommend!

Writing about my Sullivan Chaise Lounge Sectional in Charcoal Performance Tweed, which I received in mid-December 2021. And sharing my experience, as I relied on all of these reviews to make my decision to purchase from Maiden Home, and then this specific piece. Leaving a more detailed review at Houzz thread on Maiden Home couches. About the sectional: I love it. The seats are on the firmer side, but I expect they will continue to soften some (I really like the firmness now). The back cushions are down feathered filled and super sink-in comfortable. This size (106 in + 63in + 35 in) is large, but perfect for hosting the family (kids r 10 and 13). The fabric – I mulled this over and researched the heck out of it. It is not scratchy at all, on the soft size. I did the pour-test like everyone else (liquids bead up easily – easy to clean). I have two (clawed) active cats. I’m still working on some behavior modification (spray bottle), but when they have clawed it – so far they have not left a mark. My experience with Maiden Home was great – one of the best I’ve had with a company. There were many email and text exchanges, and they at one point really surprised with unexpected extension of a courtesy regarding the price (in short, I had bought this 8 months earlier, sought refund because of constant delays, then returned to buy again - then realized they had made a significant price increase on all pieces). Although Maiden Home is on the higher end of my price point, I am motivated to save and buy from them again because their style is awesome, pieces are of great quality (so far), customer service is awesome, and love they are made here in NC (where I live).

I ordered the small Sullivan loveseat and square footstool in performance melange weave, color flint. I had read the reviews, everything from too hard to too soft. I must be mama bear because for me the loveseat is "just right." The sofa is elegant and tasteful, I love the color, it's very comfortable and I'm so happy with it. The footstool is like a big pillow and it's actually nicer than I anticipated. Maiden Home got the items to me a couple weeks earlier than originally planned, which was nice. Delivery was great, too. Ordering furniture online could go either way, so I'm happy to say that this was an experience that had no disappointments.

Second time furnishing our second new build with the Sullivan L-sectional, ottomans, 2 chair & a half and two downing chairs with ottomans. Our last house was so beautifully staged with Maiden Home furniture, that the home sold with all furniture & I had to buy all new with our current home built in 2021. The quality is great & the performance linen fabric in Creme compliments our coastal vibe throughout our home. Great quality pieces and I will continue to buy from Maiden Home in the future.

I have had my Sullivan L Sectional in Tuscan Bourbon Leather for about 4 months and it is exactly what I wanted. Before ordering I was slightly worried that the bourbon color leather would be darker than what I envisioned for the room, but I took a chance on it and so happy that I did. It is a beautiful warm dark caramel color, instead of a heavy dark leather look. It is beautiful and COMFORTABLE and a real wow factor in our home. **I will say that I customized mine to include individual seat cushions instead of the bench cushions so I could rotate them and not have uneven wear. I am so glad I did this!

Our sectional has survived a three year old, 1 year old, and new born like it ain’t no thing. It’s cushions make the best forts while maintaining their shape. The bench looks as good as the day I bought it. Also when my kids trashed some of the covers, I was able to get new cushion covers from their very prompt customer service!

This couch is so perfect. I tried so many couches from the name brand stores and nothing fit my needs. I decided to take a chance on this sight unseen and so happy I did! It is such a quality couch. I love the performance tweed fabric. It’s very soft but will hold up to the kids, although I’ve yet to let them have any food on it yet. I will say the couch is very deep. Perfect for laying but you definitely need extra throw pillows to sit upright in it. A perfect family couch that doesn’t skimp on style!

We chose the Sullivan sectional because it provided the most amount of seating for our space. Living on the lake we do a lot of entertaining in the summer, so having enough seating for all of our friends and family is key. The deep seat and down filled cushions make it a comfortable spot to curl up with a book or watch the game on tv and the bench cushion gives it the clean modern feel we love. This sofa feels so special because of the extra details like the wood feet and curved arm, plus we finally have the white linen sofa I've always wanted but in a kid and pet-friendly fabric! I'm so glad I don't need to constantly worry about every spill. Really every detail is beautiful, and you can see (and feel) the difference in the quality. We also got two Leroy chairs in Denim Performance Tweed. They have a beautiful shape and the wood details add such warmth and character to the chair. These chairs are floating in the middle of our living space and they are the first thing you see when you walk in the front door. I love that they are unique and visually interesting from every angle they are viewed at. They really add so much to our space!

Like most reviewers, I was hesitant to purchase sofas without sitting in them. However, based on the other reviews and many conversations with Dana, I decided to try the Sullivan. I bought not one, but two so I was really taking a leap of faith. Maiden Home customized them to my specifications (I wanted a solid cushion on the bottom, no seams) and as they advertised sent many emails during the production process. Their estimated delivery time was spot-on! Now to the sofas, THEY ARE A DREAM!!! I really can't believe just how comfortable they are. We bought leather; it's beautiful and supple and I'm sure will only get better with age. I bought leather because my dogs live on our television sofas and I didn't want to vacuum dog hair anymore. Problem solved! I'm not concerned about their nail marks either-for me, that just ages the sofas faster. This is our life. Pets, kids, and lots of snuggling on our wonderful, new Sullivan sofas. Everyone in the family agrees they were a great purchase!

I saw an ad for Maiden home on Facebook shortly after we purchased a new home. I was interested by the thought of a high quality sofa that I could customize. Working with Dana from the beginning was great! She graciously sent out fabric samples two different times to help me decide. My final choice was the Sullivan sofa in a 95" length and the Champagne performance fabric. She was right...the down cushions are semi-firm and very comfortable. I just love it!

I could not be more pleased with our Sullivan sofa. The piece itself is beautiful -- by far one of the most comfortable couches I have ever experienced, great fabric, high quality execution. I ordered a number of swatches in advance to test resilience to wine and kids -- the parchment performance chevron has been easy to clean (swatch held up against red wine!) and looks great in person. The ordering process was a breeze -- tons of timely updates, great customer service, fast delivery. I was a bit nervous about ordering online -- especially since many reviews at that time were from designers versus customers who had lived with the furniture in "real life" -- but as a happy customer (with little kids), I can't wait to order more pieces soon!

We are so pleased to have selected the Sullivan with Sunbrella Smoke. It's truly a great piece of furniture and looks wonderful in our home. We were nervous about making such a large and important purchase online without seeing the piece beforehand, but as soon as it arrived we knew we made the correct decision. We are still breaking in the cushions but it's already very comfortable. The quality is exactly as they describe and you won't be unhappy!

We received our Sullivan sectional in January and have been completely happy with it. Like most every other review we have never bought furniture we haven’t been able to see in person, however the design team helped us find exactly what we were looking for. The entire process was awesome, except the third party delivery team that was difficult to get ahold of. However, after letting Maiden Home know, they helped us get ahold of them for our delivery. The only minor inconvenience with the Sullivan is having to fluff the back cushions frequently, but I was made aware of this before purchasing. Once fluffed they look brand new again, which I love. I would buy through Maiden Home again and have recommended them to friends.

We have had our new sofa for about 3 weeks. We are in love with it, the color, the construction, super comfortable. My kids spilled something on it the first day and it just wiped right off. AMAZING I was hesitant ordering but the entire process was very easy, and perfect. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone.

First off, the customer support at Maiden Home is unbeatable. From the swatches to post purchase care. We have had our couch for 6 months now and it is beautiful. At first it’s firm but that’s good so it doesn’t sink. We live the deep seats and how roomy it is.

It took us almost a year to decide on which Maiden Home sectional, with what fabric, and stain for the wood feet. Of course, we are beyond happy. The Sullivan is so comfortable - movie watching and nap worthy! The quality is just superb. The delivery and set-up was so professional - the guys were great.

We purchased two sofas and an ottoman/coffee table and couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve always wanted a white couch but wasn’t sure our dog, cat and baby would allow that. I ordered the Sullivan sectional, Leroy chair and the Bowery ottoman. I ordered many swatches and worked w Emily to make sure each piece would fit perfectly in our home. My husband was skeptical ordering custom pieces without sitting on them!! We could not be more happy. They are comfortable, durable and soft. I ordered extra fabric to make my own pillows. Just perfect !

Updating my previous review because I was skeptical about all the great reviews when I was deciding if this was the couch. Well, 6 months in and it’s even better than when we first got it! Our Sullivan in the frost performance basketweave is a dream. It gets comfier everyday, the bench cushion isn’t quite as firm with regular everyday wear I’d I’m glad. I only fluff the bench and rotate twice a month and it looks amazing. Fluff the back cushions more regularly, once a week and they look great. Spilled so much coffee on the arm today and it disappeared with just a dry, white cloth. Cannot speak more highly of the quality and aesthetic value, this couch is worth every penny and then some. Already plotting my next purchase of a bed. Don’t hesitate!

Wow! We've had our Sullivan for about six months now. We bought a sectional in the performance tweed fabric. At first we were nervous it was going to be too stiff, but over time it has really softened up and become truly one of the most comfortable sitting couches I've ever experianced . We rotate all cushions about once a month to make sure the couch wears evenly. This takes no time at all and is really no trouble. The fabric has held up very well without any sign of fading or damage, and that's with the loving attention of a 60 lb bully dog. The cushions are deep so that you feel hugged and comfortable wherever you sit on the couch. The couch has a good height, a concern my tall partner had when we were initially looking for a couch. The delivery process was a breeze, with easy in-home set up that went off without a hitch, even in crazy pandemic times. Initially we had some concerns about one of our bench cushions. The customer service was excellent and extremely helpful in finding a solution to our concern. We will defiantly be buying from Maiden Home in the future!

I love the Sullivan! The ease of ordering swatches made me more confident in my decision to buy. It is comfortable (i expected a little more relaxed based on the description) but its still cozy. My only complaint is that the cushions look wrinkled after you sit on them and I have to straighten them out all of the time but that might be common with bench seating. Overall I would recommend this couch to anyone. I get so many compliments!

I have had my Sullivans for a month, and absolutely love them. The fabric matched the swatch exactly. The seat cushion is firm but very comfortable. Have already had a few naps. Chose the Performance Basketweave over the linen because the linen wrinkles. The sofas are beautiful, graceful lines. Highly recommend.

We are very happy with our Sullivan! Very attractive and comfortable. We got it in the Creme performance linen with down alternative fill. The lines are nice, the fabric has a nice, natural look and seems very durable, and the depth is just right for us. I was hesitant about the bench seating but it is actually quite nice. I also had an excellent experience with customer service, and the sofa arrived earlier than anticipated. It wasn't my preference to buy a sofa without being able to sit on it, but this purchase thankfully worked out great. No problems with construction or issues with back cushions being limp -yet (we've had it just over a month) - that could be because we got the down alternative, which could be an option if you want something just a tad more supportive. Overall we are very pleased.

My initial review disappeared. The Sullivan sofa is the most uncomfortable sofa I ever sat on, let alone purchased. I could elaborate, but to what avail? I’ll never again buy a sofa sight-unseen or “un-sat” upon. Miserable experience. The Customer Service Team should be renamed the Company Service Team as their bottom line and sole interest lies with the almighty dollar. Do not be fooled by the brilliance of their marketing strategy. Save yourself (and your money!). I’ll survive: lesson learned.

Like most mention, I was very hesitant to buy a sofa online. After receiving two rounds of swatches, I decided to take the leap of faith. We ended up with a beautiful Sullivan sectional for the sitting room off our kitchen. It is a high traffic area so we went with a performance fabric and are not disappointed. It has quickly become the most coveted spot in the house! The sofa quality is exceptional and we have already tested the durability after my daughter spilled a gatorade. I quickly soaked it up with a white towel, a little soap and it is like new! After our experiences, I plan on buying two more Maiden Home sofas for our family room!

We purchased the Sullivan right chaise sectional in shadow. The fabric is perfect for our life with pets and game day parties. The sophisticated lines go perfectly with the Restoration Hardware furniture around the couch. I purchased because MH offers the original quality of US made furniture that has disappeared over the last few decades and at a very fair price. Very happy with our purchase.

I searched high and low for the perfect couch when I was moving. I was so happy when one day I stumbled upon Maiden Home and the Sullivan couch- I knew I had found the perfect one. After getting swatches, I settled on the 90" Merino version. I was really concerned that it would look massive in my 900 sq. ft. apartment, but it is a gorgeous and perfect fit. The couch is really comfortable and not too soft or too hard. The fabric is so cozy. I get compliments on the couch all of the time. The heather grey goes well with everything I own and the shape of the couch is timeless yet modern. I absolutely love it and am so glad I went with Maiden Home.
