Commitment 1: The best value in luxury furniture, bar none.

Ever wonder why furniture is so expensive? When you shop from a traditional showroom (or Guideshop, or Gallery) you’re paying for what we view as needless costs: the showroom itself, the salespeople staffing it, and so on. On average, you'll pay an 8X markup on furniture purchased via a traditional, brick-and-mortar retailer. It's no wonder these products are typically mass-produced overseas, at a quality standard we wouldn't want for our own homes. 

For the same price you’ll pay at your local big box retailer, MH offers a higher quality, American-made product, designed in New York City and handmade in North Carolina. Wondering why this didn’t exist before? Us too.

Maiden Home quality is built upon a foundation of heritage craftsmanship, passed down through generations. Your piece will be handmade by skilled artisans in our North Carolina workrooms, with a care and attention to detail you won't find elsewhere. We're proud to bring their small-batch, custom craft directly to consumers online for the very first time. 

From our kiln-dried hardwood frames and high-resiliency cushions to our premium performance fabrics and hand finishing - every element of your piece has been carefully selected to represent the highest quality available. You shouldn’t have to plan your furniture buying around us–or worry about missing out on a sale just around the corner. We never offer seasonal sales or discounts on our products, focusing on the fairest possible prices every day of the year. This means we never inflate our prices at the outset so that we can comfortably mark them down later on - refreshing right?

Commitment 4: A simple, stress-free experience.

You shouldn’t have to wait months for a custom sofa. You shouldn’t spend thousands of dollars on a piece–only to spend weeks in the dark, wondering when it will arrive. And you should always have access to sound, pressure-free advice when you’re making a purchase for your home. We designed our customer experience so that you can access quick guidance at any point during the process. From selecting fabrics and discussing living room layouts with your personal Design Advisor, to receiving updates throughout the build of your furniture, to accepting white glove delivery at our industry-best lead times, we are here for you every step of the way.

Commitment 5: There for you, no matter what.

We get it - buying a piece of furniture online can feel like a leap of faith. Will it show up on time? Will it look like I hope it does? We have a habit of exceeding expectations, but if and when life gets in the way of our best laid plans, we are here to make it right. No endless wait-times, no misinformed operators, just personal, professional attention to your order every step of the way. And our care doesn’t end when your piece is delivered: Our industry-leading warranty covers the frame and springs of your piece for life, and the resilience of your cushions for five years.

But what if it’s not a matter of life getting in the way? What if you just don’t like it? If you’re not totally in love with your piece, we’ll take it back with no questions asked. Simply drop us a line within 30 days of delivery and we’ll pick up your piece, refunding you fully minus 10% of your purchase price to cover transportation costs. No stress, no headache, no unexpected charges or fees.
