I was very nervous about purchasing a sofa online, but during Covid we didn't want to be shopping in person and we were spending a lot of time at home, so it seemed like a good time to get a new place to sit/hangout. We did tons of research, I wanted a sofa that looked good, wasn't too traditional, was comfortable and cozy, but wouldn't end up as a wrinkled mess. We were impressed by the return policy, the reviews and the design of the Ludlow sofa. After looking at swatches and asking Ashley for her advice, we settled on the 85" wide in the Sage Performance Weave (which I don't think they carry anymore, but is really nice). I wanted something in a midtone and "Mist" felt too light. With all of the glowing reviews on how comfortable it was, you can imagine our surprise when our sofa arrived and was really firm...like a drum. We tried it for a week or so and finally wrote Ashley back, they had some questions and we sent some pix and videos and we were super impressed because they decided to remake the sofa - that it didn't meet their standards. We waited again, I didn't know what to expect - but when the new sofa arrived it was amazing. Really comfortable and cozy, it doesn't show cat hair and, so far, it doesn't seem to snag at all when I hear those cat claws landing a bit hard on it. We had a tiny spill that cleaned up like a dream. So, this is a lovely sofa, it's my new favorite place to read (there's been a lot of reading this year!) and relax. Very happy with it and would order again from them.

We purchased the Sullivan sectional in Moss Mohair. It is one of the best purchases I have ever made. We were a little nervous about making such a big purchase online so we researched many options. We had worked with an interior designer for some other furniture purchases and were trying to see if we could buy a sectional that would not break the bank! The designer gave us some recommendations of what to look for in a sectional in terms of quality and durability. The quality of the mohair swatch, the kiln-dried hardwood (we really wanted to avoid manufactured wood), 8-way hand-tied springs and the quality of the cushions (as well as many positive online reviews) ultimately persuaded us to buy the Sullivan. I liked that we received several order confirmations that were not automated. An actual human being reached out to confirm the order, with a sketch for our approval specifying the size and orientation of the sectional. There was very clear messaging about delivery requirements (i.e. exact clearance needed to fit through doorways and rooms). We received updates during the production process (framing and spring creation). We placed the order on February 14th and the Sullivan was delivered on April 4th. All very smooth and easy. And the Sullivan turns out to be the most comfortable piece of furniture we own. The bench-like seat cushions are extremely comfortable and there has been plenty of napping on them. At first I wasn't sure about this style because I was only familiar with single-seat cushions. I am a convert to the bench seating. The cushion construction is great - the seating is firm enough to feel supportive but also very comfortable. The back cushions are wonderfully soft and luxurious feeling. They are down, so we do need to fluff them up occasionally. They return to original shape and firmness easily. We usually are three people sitting on the couch and that is perfectly comfortable. The three of us are very different sizes (5ft4, 5ft9, 6ft3) and we all find the Sullivan super comfortable. We could easily fit a fourth and fifth if my 13-year-old would not stretch out her whole body across the cushion. And the mohair! This was a splurge that was worth it. It looks beautiful and is so easy to clean up. We have two cats and they love to lie on the couch but have not been tempted to scratch it (I had been told cats don't really like the texture of the mohair). Our designer is impressed with the quality of this sectional and has advised other colleagues and clients to explore Maiden Home options. Overall this was a fantastic purchase and I expect we will be enjoying the Sullivan for many years to come.

I'm absolutely in love with my Reade rectangular table! It is beyond gorgeous, especially the beautifully sculpted legs, and I love that it was hand-built in the US. Also, for anyone debating wood finish, the Pecan was the perfect choice for me - it reads warm without feeling heavy or dark. Delivery and assembly were seamless - the team set up the table perfectly, and Maiden Home even provided assembly instructions in case we ever needed to move it. Thank you, MH! I will be back!

Purchased two Carmines--a 65" and an 85"--to replace two 13 year old sofas that had seen better days. The old sofas had loose back cushions my small dogs loved sitting on and were looking so sloppy. The look of the Carmine is very traditional so it fit well with my existing furniture. I do wish a turned leg was an option, but the legs are fine. Went with Malt Performance Basketweave which is a nice neutral (old sofas were gold and I was sick of the warmth). Love the arms. Honestly it is taking time to get use to the firmer back but I'm willing to sacrifice for the neater look:) Order process was great. Swatches arrived quickly. My sofas were ready way before they were promised. There was a slight snafu where one was ready to be delivered while the other was still in production but MH helped sort through that with the delivery company. Outstanding customer service. Overall I highly recommend and think these pieces are an outstanding value.

So far I’m impressed with the quality of the Varick chaise sectional. It’s comfortable and beautiful. I didn’t pay attention to the height of the sectional and was surprised my 6 foot husband is happy with my choice. Sectional arrived when expected (one major reason I choice the Varick). Delivery company was just okay. Will be buying more pieces in the near future.

We’ve had our Sullivan sectional for a few months now and really love the look and quality of our purchase. Our couch gets a lot of use but still looks very good after several months. Ordering was so easy and all the customization options were great - we ended up getting a performance fabric. I loved getting updates on the progress of my order along the way. Only reason it’s 4 stars, not 5, is because delivery was very late, there were some loose threads around a seam, and the performance fabric has been harder to clean than expected. Outside of that, this was the best local quality and modern craftsman furniture I found within a reasonable price range and it’s a wonderful couch we expect to enjoy for a long time!

We are very pleased with our Warren Chaise Sectional in performances velvet. We chose the olive color which is stunning. The chaise sectional is a great size for our family and everyone comments on how comfortable the sofa is. Communication and delivery were exceptional. Very pleased!

We ordered Kent bed and this review is not about the product since I have not received it. First of all, the production time is ridiculous but it is what it is. They give you an estimated window of delivery which for me was about 1.5 month after I ordered it. Fine, we are moving to a new construction and we are reliant on the bed to be delivered within the time that they give you. I thought 1.5 month wait is long given other high end furniture store (furniture hand made) gave me at the most 1 month and was delivered on time. I called a week before the estimated delivery time to make sure that this is still accurate and they told me it was. Then this week I get an email stating that the item has shipped and it won't arrive until one month later. If the order shipped on 4/29, why would it take 1 month in transit to be delivered to my house? That makes no sense and I thought the date was a typo so I called them and they confirmed that yes, it does take a month to transit the product. I asked them why and they give you some crazy story about going to different hubs and stops and etc. If we (customer) are paying this crazy $$ for the product, shouldn't the shipping be sent asap? I mean what kind of carrier are they using if a product takes one whole month to ship in State? It just makes me so upset as we have no bed to sleep on and now have to make other unnecessary arrangements. They take no accountability or ownership and basically say - from customer perspective ' sorry but not sorry' attitude. I expected more from high end furniture store and will now reconsider every purchasing from this company again. Buyer be aware!

I am very happy with my Clinton dresser. I looked a long time for a solid wood, 6 drawer dresser, that had soft close drawers and wasn't too long. I also wanted a light wood color, and not a tall, but a wide dresser. My old dresser had a lot of sentimental value, but every time I opened and closed a drawer it was a struggle. The Clinton dresser --I got not the lightest wood tone but the next--has lovely coloring in the wood and the rounded edges on all sides, top and bottom, are a subtle but great feature. I also paid a slight fee to get not the pebbled leather on top, but the soft leather that I prefer. The mix of the thin leather top and the wood is lovely. It did smell for about 5 hours on delivery, but I opened the screened windows in the room and it disappeared. I also had a delivery issue, but it was handled promptly and courteously by customer service.

After an exhaustive search for the perfect sofa both online and testing several at a few big box stores, we decided to take a leap of faith and order from Maiden Home. The sofa just arrived today and we are utterly in love (if one can be in love with a sofa!) Let me start with the ordering experience. I called and had a million questions, all of which were answered in detail by a woman who's name I can't recall. We ordered the Carmine in olive green velvet and it is truly stunning. The person on the phone told me that this sofa was more of a formal feel, meaning it is not squishy, but more of a 'sit on top' experience. I am not a fan of squishy sofas, so that was just fine. She was definitely accurate, this is a firm sofa, but extremely comfortable. The design, lines and quality are all outstanding. The fabric is soft, but seems also very durable. The color is rich and neutral. Every detail of the sofa have been considered and you can tell immediately that the quality is very high. It looks beautiful in our mixed style living room (modern art with traditional furniture) and we could not be happier with the entire experience. I will definitely be ordering from this company again and so glad to know it is female owned! Keep up the good work Maiden Home!

This couch is so perfect. I tried so many couches from the name brand stores and nothing fit my needs. I decided to take a chance on this sight unseen and so happy I did! It is such a quality couch. I love the performance tweed fabric. It’s very soft but will hold up to the kids, although I’ve yet to let them have any food on it yet. I will say the couch is very deep. Perfect for laying but you definitely need extra throw pillows to sit upright in it. A perfect family couch that doesn’t skimp on style!

I just received my Dune sofa from Maiden Home and I could not be anymore thrilled! It took me over a year to finally decide to take the plunge on purchasing. My hesitancy stemmed from the fact that I couldn’t see the sofa in person at a store. I checked out slipcovered sofas from Pottery Barn, Crate&Barrel, and Living Spaces. None of them had all the qualities I was looking for (comfort, durable fabric, and overall aesthetic). Maiden Home hit all check marks for me. I ordered many fabric swatches and decided on the Flax Performance Textured Linen. It is a really pretty off white/warm-gray color. It is also spill resistant. I tested the swatch with red wine and coffee. Grace from Maiden Home was very patient and answered all my questions through the whole decision process. I ordered the sofa on 7/16 and it was delivered on 8/16! The delivery time was much faster than Maiden Home anticipated. The estimated delivery window was around mid September. The sofa itself is super comfy. It is soft, but still has the right amount of support. I am so glad I took a chance on Maiden Home!

I've been looking at couches and fabric swatches for years to decide what to purchase. When I looked at quality vs price (and heard great reviews from a friend about Maiden Home), I decided to take the leap. We have not been disappointed. The quality is top notch, and the sofa is beautiful (and so comfortable). Maiden Home kept us informed about the entire process. I have been recommending Maiden Home to anyone who asks, and we will most certainly be purchasing furniture from here again.

We are a year into our Dune sofa with scatter back pillows. I would caution against purchasing this product. Our sofa still looks lovely. It's lines and the performance linen have held up well. The issue is deeper than cosmetic. Our scatter back pillows have never softened. They are insanely stiff and uncomfortable. Our bench seat, on the other hand, is insanely unsupportive. My husband and I have started experiencing back pain after sitting on the sofa for as little as ten minutes. We aren't big people (our Ethan Allen sofas which are far older, are still as comfortable and supportive as the day we purchased them). As another reviewer wrote, the feather loss/escape is astounding--and almost embarrassing. Before company arrives, I check the sofa for strays--there are often many. I simply cannot recommend this sofa if you are looking for a piece that will be enduring and comfortable.

After less than 1.5 years, my Warren couch looks cheap and worn out. I wish I spent less on a more commercialized couch because for the price and size we’ve been really disappointed. My husband and I use furniture lightly, so I can’t imagine what it would look like in a high traffic room with a dog or child. The fabric stretches, the interior looks limp, the seams don’t look plush in places where they should be, the performance fabric doesn’t work like previous brands I’ve have and the stains hold. It’s a regretful purchase unfortunately!

I have always been a fan of slipcovered sofa and when I saw your “fresh spin “ on them I jumped on it. I love it . Very comfy and inviting. Children are grown and gone and I can truly enjoy lounging. My favorite spot by the end of the day . I fluff my pillows once a week and they continue to keep the shape. Customer service was very professional and attentive. I love the way they checked in during production even though it was website purchased. Thumbs Up 👍

I’ve had my eye on the Ludlow in Performance Linen Oyster for a long time and when we decided to refurnish our living room, I had to give it a try. I love that Maiden Home sends you free (BIG) swatches which made choosing a fabric much much easier. I also couldn’t have done without the comfort guide because I’m usually easily swayed by style BUT for this couch I needed it to be comfortable. I was initially hesitant with the tufted back (I even inquired about changing my order after I placed it), not because of its look, but because I thought not having back pillows would make the couch less comfy, but boy was I wrong. The back of the tufted couch is so soft and plush, way beyond my expectations. The couch is so beautifully designed and stylish and the custom size options are wonderful. The quality for the price really cannot be beaten. Dana was amazing throughout the whole process with personal attention and quick response times. Setting up delivery was a breeze. I’m already eying up a chair to compliment my new sofa and everyone that sees the Ludlow asks where I bought it. You really will not regret this purchase!

After nearly 2 years of debating whether or not to purchase from Maiden Home we ordered the Sullivan Sofa (90" in Char Performance Tweed) which we've now had for 1 month. The sampling, ordering, and delivery processes were smooth and the construction phase was very well communicated and tracked. First off, we love our Sullivan! The sofa is incredibly comfortable - the sloped arms create a nice corner to snuggle into and the bench cushion provides a sleek appearance that stays nicely in place thanks to the tie downs. The back cushions are extremely well filled and provide a plushy yet supportive back to rest against. Not a complaint, but this sofa is not the super plush, "melt-into, luxurious comfort" that is stated in the description - the bench seat cushion particularly is more firm and supportive. That being said, it's only been 1 month, so we shall see how it wears over the next year. To avoid the wrinkling and uneven wearing that some reviews have mentioned we fluff and rotate the back cushions weekly, and flip the seat cushion twice a month. The performance tweed is super soft and easy to clean, however it does collect and show lint more than anticipated (likely due to the dark color and higher texture pile). I'm a commercial interior designer and have sat in and seen my fair share of sofas that are in high traffic spaces; overall I highly recommend this piece and Maiden Home! My only suggestion would be to provide an option to somehow choose seat cushion "plushness" (similar to mattresses) or revise the description. Thank you Maiden Home!

We went around all the typical furniture stores and couldn't find anything that both looked good and made you want to spend time sitting on it. I had been eyeing MH for a while, and finally made the call because of their unique dimension options. I was so nervous ordering a sofa I've never seen or sat on, but honestly could NOT be happier with our Dune sofa. It's simply gorgeous, and has been a major upgrade for our home. The fabric is even more stunning in person, very durable but also soft, and the sofa is incredibly comfortable - just the right balance of cushiness and support. We spend a ton of time on it, reading, watching TV, hanging out, it's so lovely. The customer service team was attentive and super helpful, I really appreciated their support. I would happily order from Maiden Home again, and highly recommend their sofas.

I really do love the look of the Morro Table, but it was shipped via UPS and not packaged well and, therefore, arrived damaged. They were willing to ship me a replacement table, but although I was told it would be delivered via white glove delivery, it was once again shipped via UPS and once again arrived damaged. I know shipping things is difficult right now and I was willing to wait patiently through delays, but I wanted my table to arrive in good condition in the end!
