2/5 | Pretty design, disappointing lack of durability
The design and shape of the Sullivan is beautiful, though be warned that the down cushions will start to appear sagging very soon (even after minimal use!)... the back cushions also fall down often, which require fixing and fluffing every now and then. Both, fine...I can deal with. However, I went with the Performance Weave (sunbrella) and it has been a nightmare quite frankly.
MH purports the fabric to be "exceptionally family-friendly and easy to maintain." Based on this description, I chose it for our family room and I could not DISAGREE more! It can withstand a bit of water fine, but anything else stains and sets in. I've meticulously followed Sunbrella's cleaning instructions, having gone as far as steam cleaning from seam to seam to avoid the apparently inevitable water rings. This is so far from "easy to maintain" - unless it won't see regular use (it's only two of us!) or you don't mind keeping a blanket over the couch to avoid spilling anything on it...which defeats the point of spending so much on a beautiful piece in the first place.
Upholstery isn't covered by MH guarantee, which I guess I'm not surprised that they will not stand by this fabric. Really disheartened by this, regardless. I made this purchase thinking it would be an investment piece for our growing family. Turns out to be far from it, and I'm stuck really wishing I had invested differently.

Love this chair and ottoman! Ordered this for a master bedroom renovation - it’s so beautiful and comfortable. The fabric is so soft and the color was a perfect match to the original swatch PTO used. Maidenhome also did a great job of communicating with me throughout the shipping and delivery process. Couldn’t be happier

2/5 | Disappointing
First of all, we like the fabric quite a bit. It seems tough but smooth to the touch and soft at the same time. If you lie down and distribute your weight somewhat evenly it's quite comfortable and if you put a little work into it, it can look pretty good. Delivery time far exceeded expectations.
The comfort when seated leaves a lot to be desired. To some extent, this is just a feature of a long, two cushion couch but the cushions sag hard to the middle or either end, depending on where you're sitting, often lifting the other side of the cushion off the base of the couch. What's more, they develop serious indents after sitting on them for any length of time so they need to constantly be rotated to maintain the look and feel. There is no rotation combination that perfectly aligns the two seat cushions in the middle, as one seems to be a bit firmer and stuffed slightly thicker than the other, leaving the cushion on one side awkwardly higher than the other where they meet in the middle. Similarly, there seems to be a very slight imbalance between the left and right sides of the springs in the base.
The rear cushions feel overstuffed and protrude way into the sitting area, yet somehow wrinkle very easily around the top and bottom, like the stuffing doesn't fit the casing If you sit back into them, they fold around you and the ends stick out around your sides.
Given the sagging and creasing that's already happening, on top of what feel like some design and QC flaws, I have a lot of worries about how it will hold up in the long run.

Wow! We've had our Sullivan for about six months now. We bought a sectional in the performance tweed fabric. At first we were nervous it was going to be too stiff, but over time it has really softened up and become truly one of the most comfortable sitting couches I've ever experianced . We rotate all cushions about once a month to make sure the couch wears evenly. This takes no time at all and is really no trouble. The fabric has held up very well without any sign of fading or damage, and that's with the loving attention of a 60 lb bully dog. The cushions are deep so that you feel hugged and comfortable wherever you sit on the couch. The couch has a good height, a concern my tall partner had when we were initially looking for a couch. The delivery process was a breeze, with easy in-home set up that went off without a hitch, even in crazy pandemic times. Initially we had some concerns about one of our bench cushions. The customer service was excellent and extremely helpful in finding a solution to our concern. We will defiantly be buying from Maiden Home in the future!

Gorgeous real wood table - heavy in person but light in the room if that makes sense. Very happy with the finishing - allows the grain to shine through but has a nice consistency. Arrived early!

Ordered the Dune couch right around Thanksgiving time and it was delivered in early Feb. we love everything about it. The comfort, ability to clean it easily with a cloth when our pup jumps up on it to rest if someone is not looking. He has a perfectly good bed right beside it but loves the couch as much as us. I am going to look at the Dune chair or other options to make the room complete. I ordered the 95" size and it fits our tv room perfectly. One full big cushion on the couch means no falling into the middle of cushions. Wonderful craftsmanship and I enjoyed the updates from Maiden home as the couch moved thru the process. Thanks for amazing products!

We ordered The Warren sofa and two Leroy lounge chairs for our living room. We spent a fair amount of time researching alternatives online and shopping in various retail stores over several weeks at the beginning of the year. Maiden Home offered style in The Warren and Leroy that we loved (and didn’t find elsewhere); customer reviews here were all very positive and the North Carolina construction (and those construction details) sold us on Maiden Home. We ordered swatches, made our fabric decisions and submitted (just as C19 was becoming an issue).
Maiden Home kept us up to date on our order progress (and also worked with us on a change order for the sofa a few days after we sub the original order). Even with a short shipping delay due to C19 restrictions we received our furniture within the estimated timeframe.
Love the pieces - very comfortable, quality fabric, cushions (which on the sofa have anchor straps to keep them in place) and construction. We still have work to do finalizing decorating but here are the pieces in our home.
Very highly recommend Maiden Home!!

We absolutely love our Warren (Performance Weave Ecru) sectional! The craftsmanship outshines our previous Pottery Barn couch and after doing weeks of research, the value and quality at this price point is what really caught our eye. The experience with Maiden Home was great from start to finish; we really appreciated the updates keeping us informed on the build of the couch and the included white glove delivery was a huge plus! The fabric seems very durable (our dog loves it!) and we spilled tea on it once, which wiped right off. We can't recommend Maiden Home enough!

5/5 | Beautiful Irving Sofa! Great experience!
I selected the Irving in Graphite for my clients and they love it! The color is a perfect gray blue, the cushions are very comfortable and the entire piece is clearly wonderfully and attentively made. I will continue to seek out Maiden Home pieces in the future. I was admittedly nervous about ordering online without having the opportunity to see pieces in person but now completely trust that any and all future orders will turn out just as lovely as this one did! I also very much appreciated the excellent customer service I received. Everything about the process was friendly, easy and organized. Great overall experience!
I've been working in many facets of the ecommerce furniture retail/wholesale/distribution industry for over 12 years and so had a lot of experience to draw upon when shopping for a new sofa online. I decided on the Warren, which has all the features, dimensions, and profile I was looking for.
Maiden Home's explanations of the materials used for construction, the traditional craftsmanship techniques, and the performance of their fabric swatches gave me far more confidence in the product quality over any impression I've been left with after having sat on/touched/viewed sofas at all the major furniture chains' brick-and-mortar stores. A sofa crafted in North Carolina was also very important to me -- why pay the same amount for a sofa imported from Asia when Maiden Home's incredibly superior product is an option?! White glove delivery and LTL shipment is easily valued at/around $300 or more but Maiden Home includes this with your order. There is so much value wrapped into what Maiden Home is doing.
I very much appreciate that the product line is classic, timeless, and thoughtfully designed. MH's return policy for a custom piece is FABULOUS -- it should give any skeptics immense peace of mind! And my Warren is so incredibly comfortable -- after reading about the product build quality, I had zero reservations about comfort level before ordering.
Wishing Maiden Home much success!

Our sofa was ordered in April, shipped to us on June 9th. Maiden home used Home Delivery hub to deliver the couch. They only had two days available: June 27th and July 11th. I tried to pick June and was notified the ‘truck was too small for delivery that day’ and had to pick July 11th. I was given the delivery time of 12-4pm. I sat around way past 4pm trying to contact customer service for Maiden Home and Home delivery hub but literally all of their customer service options and additional lines such as dispatch went to voicemail. It is now almost a full 24 hours past when our couch was supposed to be delivered and I still haven’t heard from either company.

Ordered the Thompson bed and received it faster than estimated. The quality is amazing and the customer service was phenomenal throughout the entire process. This bed is beautiful and the craftmanship of is amazing. Worth every penny.

Our dining room opens out to our terrace and on nice evenings when entertaining we like to open the doors so we wanted a dining room scene that could dress up and down - be comfortable, yet cool. The Jane in the Polar Boucle hit the spot perfectly - we bought 12 - 10 for the table and 2 sit by the banquet table for backup. The wood frames and legs are wonderfully carved and the driftwood finish is as we imagined. Truly stunning chairs and amazingly all 12 made it across the country without any damage! Thank you and we will shop with you again!

I purchased 2 Dune sofas in Performance Chenille Buff. One 90" with classic back and one 60" with scatter back. i spent a lot of time picking the fabric and i think i ordered every swatch they offer. i did a design consultation with Emily who, after listening to how I plan to use my couches (lots of lounging, sitting with my back against the arm and legs stretched out, many hours a day) steered me to the performance chenille. Emily was very pleasant to work with, she took my drawings and measurements and came up with a few possible sofa choices and layouts for me and walked me thru the pros and cons of each.
i've had the couches for over 3 months now and overall i'm very pleased. They look nice and match the feel of my place which is inviting, comfortable, laid-back beach. The fabric seems to resist wrinkling, it looks great with just a hand smooth down. The pillows get thrown around alot: I often flop down one of the long (classic back) pillows to prop my legs on. I take one of the scatter-backs and put it behind my back, against the arm, to prop myself up for reading or working on the computer. Despite all this, they have maintained their shape and need only minor, occasional fluffy. The bench seat pillow similarly has not gotten lumpy on any one side. i do make a point of alternating which end of the sofa i lounge on, but so far the bench looks picture perfect with minimal fluffing.
the sofas are very comfortable to lounge on. i wouldn't say marshmallow soft, there is support, but i can lie on my side for hours w/o my hips starting to ache, which was not true for firmer sofas i've had in the past. yet at the same time, there is no sag, so your back doesn't ache either.
my only nit, and the reason i gave a 4 instead of a 5, is that the material that encloses the down (what you see when you unzip the cushions) is 'crunchy'. you hear it when you move about. I realize that this material is needed to prevent feather poke and there's probably no perfect solution, but for me it takes away from the 'dream cloud' feel the couches would otherwise have. it's possible and i'm hoping, this material will break in over time and be less noisy. Even with this, i do get the occasional (2x per week) feather pop out.
You can tell the sofas are well built. The seams are all very clean and straight, the workmanship is evident. No creaks or groans when I sit or get up or move them around. The delivery people said they had never seen furniture so carefully wrapped for delivery. They are heavy and solid. i knew i might be moving them around before deciding on a final placement, so i bought gliders and asked the delivery guys to place them under the legs. i've been able to slide them around that way, but would not be able to move the 90" by myself otherwise.
The arm is comfortable - i was very worried it would be too thin or too low, and i wouldn't be able to prop myself against it to read. But it's solid and substantial, it feels very comfy with one of the scatter back cushions against it.
as others have said, this wouldn't be my first choice for a sofa if i planned to sit upright facing forward most of the time. Not that it's uncomfortable when used that way, but it's a bit deep and I need additional throws in the small of my back to be comfortable. A taller person (i'm 5'4) might not. However, in my book, it really shines as a lounging sofa.

This sectional is everything I wanted it to be. The footprint is not massively chunky which is exactly what I was looking for. The tailoring on the corners is gorgeous. I found it very difficult to find a sectional that delivers that refined cozy look without being dumpy/wrinkled or massively chunky made only for a huge loft. On top of that it’s super comfy! Love the fabric. It’s exactly what I wanted!! Customer service was very helpful. They do charge if you make changes to your order / they make that clear but just pointing out so definitely try to get the measurements right the first time. I have two kids and I boldly went with oyster but I know I can buy a back up slip cover and that’s ultimately what made me make that final decision.

This bed beautifully made. I love how the natural wood and leather come together to make a modern silhouette feel organic. It’s my bedroom's statement piece.

5/5 | Lovely materiality that'll last us a lifetime
We own a Reyes bench with a Natural Ash finish, and no seat cushion. We're absolutely loving the modern and minimalist form, solid wood construction, and understated elegance of the brass detailing. This was originally going to be a bed-end bench (the height seems like it would be perfect for that), but have opted instead to treat it as a statement piece to showcase in our entryway. For being a solid wood bench, it is astoundingly comfortable—its depth and height feel just right. We're thrilled to live with a quality piece that is sure to last us a lifetime (or more!).

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Carmine sofa. As part of the aging process, I wanted a sofa that had a higher seat and was more supportive. I got that and comfort too. The velvet fabric is lovely, and the craftsmanship is undeniable. I so much appreciated the above average customer service. It was there from start to well after delivery. I almost went with a competitor. So glad I did not. I was working harder than they were just trying to secure fabric samples. I always get compliments on this beautiful sofa. I will recommend Maiden Home to anyone looking for quality furniture. Thanks Maiden Home!
