I ordered a bed that took 10-13 weeks to arrive. Two weeks before the scheduled arrival timeframe, they wrote me to say that there was a mishap and the be would take "about" a month and a half longer. Seeing as I'd already waited the maximum amount of time, I asked for a refund. They took out 10% of my refund even though the mistake was clearly on their part. Not shopping with them again.

We ordered the Varick right after it debuted as a style, so I wasn't completely sure what to expect. We are so in love with this sofa - it's perfectly cozy for lounging, yet it still looks chic with the straight lines. The seat is deeper than we expected (in the best way), so its a great napping sofa too. The cushions are cushy without losing shape every time you sit down. We are definitely sofa "loungers" vs. sitters, so I think that's why the shape works so well for us. I'm not sure this style would work the best for sitting all the time. We got the cream color in chenille and it's been great. The Crypton has seemed to protect the light fabric from our dog... so far so good!! So happy with our maiden home purchase!

No back support and constant neck strain. We tried adding arms to this so we could get some support on the sides but it didn’t help. Our designers picked this out and were so disappointed. The short back is compounded by the fact that the seat cushions slightly slope down from the back to front so it constantly pulls you forward like you’re going to slide off the couch. I’ve never used my neck and abdominal muscles so much when sitting on a couch before. We can only use this couch to lay down on.

I’ve had my couch (Irving) and chair (Leroy) for about a year and a half. I could tell the day of delivery that the set was of the highest quality but I am even more impressed now. I have small dogs and both pieces have held up wonderfully. The leather and fabric are easy to clean and scratches buff out with minimal heat. Inner linings are well protected. I cannot find a single imperfection. Would buy from this company a 100 times over!

The couch itself was delivered promptly (earlier than expected which is good, but without warning which is less good when a truck arrives with a giant sofa and you need to scramble to remove the old one somehow). Couch was beautiful and comfortable. Found an errant feather (and we have some feather allergies), but seems like it was an aberration, so no real biggie. The big problem is the "performance" fabric that should be able to stand up to children and pets. After an unfortunate pet accident, two of the cushions were stripped (the stain continued through the cushion itself, which seems like it shouldn't have happened to a stain resistant couch) and the covers thrown into the wash -- where they promptly disintegrated. I now get to purchase two new couch covers to replace the two that I would never have purchased had I known that family friendly fabrics can't actually be easily cleaned.

We bought a Sullivan. Like with any purchase this large, my wife and I were nervous about buying something sight unseen (excluding the fabric swatches). We could not be more pleased with our purchase. The sofa has firm but comfortable cushions and my wife loves lounging on the chaise. We could tell this was quality craftsmanship and we expect to have this sofa for several years.

I was a little scared to order such an important piece online..but I took a chance and am thrilled with the outcome. I have the Ludlow sofa in a gorgeous slate velvet. The sofa is elegant yet inviting..tayored and comfy...a showpiece and modest at the same time. I love it. The experience from start to finish was superb. Im in love with my Ludlow!!

While we love the look and feel of the sofa we are extremely disappointed with the fabric. We have the performance velvet is sea foam and it is not durable at all. We keep it covered with a sheet most of the time and but it still looks dingy and patchy all over. Worst of all is that it is definitely not good for pets as promised - our cat has scratched up the side. We have had another sofa from a different brand with a performance velvet fabric for 5 years and have not experienced any of these issues. 6 months after receiving our sofa it feels like we wasted $8k

I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect sectional and I am so happy I chose the dune. It’s beautiful, while still being casual enough for my modest home. I have two kids, a dog and a cat and I really think that this sofa can stand up to the torture we will put it through. It spot cleans really well and I’ve just had to wash one cushion cover and it was easy. Lead time was long, but worth the wait, delivery was seamless. Highly recommend!

We had a few small issues with our new ludlow sofa/ottoman. The customer service to remedy the situation has been the BEST customer service I have ever experienced. They want you to be happy with your pieces and will do whatever they can to make it right.

I bought these couches back in 2021. Had I been able to sit in them first, I never would have bought them. They are by far the most uncomfortable couches I've ever sat in. They are ridiculously firm. Initially I thought they must surely soften up over time. Nope. Both couches are so firm, that there is a pronounced raise, like an elephant hump, in the middle of the couches where nobody sits, which simply won't go away. So you can't even lie on them as they aren't flat. On the plus side, they look great and are clearly well constructed. If you like to get comfy and watch TV or read at night, I wouldn't get these. My fiancee and I last 10 minutes each night before we just lie on the floor or move to the bedroom instead. I've been putting off writing this review for years, as I don't like to be negative, but tonight after yet another discussion on how to watch TV comfortably, I finally cracked!

I searched many, many websites looking for a good quality, stylish linen slipcovered sofa . I wanted a sofa with a lower overall height profile , a bench seat, deeper than the sofa we had but not too deep for our small family room, a seat higher than 16 inches , a well made sofa made in The United States, , a sofa that did not cost over $5,000, a sofa that would not take 9 months to get , a sofa with a modern feel , a slip cover I could easily clean . The Leonard had it all! I had no choice but to buy it! The performance linen dew 85 inch sofa met all my expectations. The sofa arrived about 3.5 months after I placed the order, I was very pleased with what I found to be a fast turnaround in these pandemic times. The Maiden home team members sent out swatches quickly, responded quickly to the questions I sent them, gave me a delivery window and the delivery company actually was able to deliver a week earlier if I wanted, yes please. I had to wait a little longer to get the dew shade of linen rather than the standard clamshell, it was worth the wait. The dew is the classic looking natural shade of linen, off white with a little grey, a little beige woven in it. The clamshell linen swatch was gorgeous, but a bit too brown for my interiors, but perfect for the modern house with white and beige walls. I was very slightly worried when the sofa arrived in her factory fresh splendor as she was very stiff and buttoned up looking, too neat. My apprehension turned to pure joy as the linen pillows and the slipcover loosened up a bit and became more relaxed and characteristic of the beauty of linen slipcovered furniture. My husband and I are older and it was getting harder to get up from our previous sofa that had a seat 16 inches high. The Leonard seat is much higher at 19 inches, although it slopes down to 16 inches at the front of the seat to the floor when one is sitting on it . That sounds like a big slope but it is not when you see it in person, and it is really comfortable to sit on. The bench seat is so supportive and firm, more like sitting on a spring coil mattress than a squishy sofa. That might not be appealing to some buyers, but we find it to be perfect. For a nap on this sofa, you may as well be on a bed . So happy we chose the Leonard sofa. She is stylish and beautiful, does not take up a lot of space, the arms are slim so you get more actual seat length out of her . The back cushions she comes with are comfortable, really no need for any more than 2 or 3 accessory decorative pillows on her. We really, really love the Leonard sofa. I almost forgot, any dirt or spills on her come off easily with a little spot cleaning with a water dampened towel. With a dog coming in from the muddy spring yard and jumping on her immediately, we certainly had to do that many times already.

Over the years of living in NYC I’ve moved apartments every couple years and have run the gamut of cheap sofas … west elm, ikea, interior define, article, cb2 … each were eventually given away to the tenant moving in or sold on Craigslist - and I always felt good riddance. Finally grew up and wanted to buy some proper furniture and a designer suggested the dune at MH - this all a long way of saying you get what you pay for this - this sofa is real quality and I wish I did this years ago. Super comfy and well made.

It's a bit daunting, purchasing a new couch online with only a fabric swatch in hand. We agonized over fabric because there were many great choices. We end up with the Warren sectional w/chaise in the Heather Grey Merino fabric. The fabric is A+! The sectional fits the space perfectly, is very comfortable, and well built! I trusted the reviews I read and I'm so glad I did!!

I have had my couch for about a year (it was not used for the 1st 3 months because my room wasn't ready yet). Last month a zipper on one of the cushions broke. I have never touched the zipper before. I only noticed because the cover looked loose. MH replaced the cover with an almost match to my fabric. Just last week, I noticed another zipper is broken! This time they tell me they will replace the cover but it is the last time they will do so without charging me! I am extremely careful with everything I own. Nobody is jumping on the couch or mistreating it. All we do is sit on it. This would seem to be a MH quality issue. I do not recommend buying from a company that does not stand behind the quality of their products. It's too bad because I was excited to purchase from a U.S. company.

Be extremely cautious when purchasing anything from Maiden Home. They are an online-only company and promise a return minus 10% if AND ONLY IF you have a "successful" delivery inside your home. Even after proof of delivery - good luck trying to return, they will pigeon hole you into trying to keep your couch even if you don't like it. Maiden Home's policies only protect them, not the customer. Be VERY cautious. I suggest you purchase your couch elsewhere.

Fits with any decor and is the most comfortable sofa ever! We have back issues and this sofa is the first that we can sit and lay on without pain. Simply beautiful.

I purchased Essex bed in king size. It's the most beautiful bed I've ever owned and very very nice quality! Only issue with the order was delivery process! Delivery person called me a day before and told me they are delivering my bed the next day. I was told if I am not around to receive the order, it may take another few months before I can receive my bed. I felt it was a little inconvenient since I had to make myself available to receive the order for next day urgently, but bed quality is superb so I am very happy overall!
