In summary, MH’s response to the problem below is not indicative or within the spirit of a business trying do the right thing for their customers. This includes accepting accountability for mistakes when they happen. Unfortunately, it has been a very costly experience as the refund is subject to a 10% fee in addition to providing MH with full reimbursement for their shipping expenditures and any costs relating to damages that may occur on its way back. Problem: I informed MH I received 2 sofas in a light gray color which should have been in a darker gray color; for this reason I needed to return them. I also stated I felt it was reasonable to expect to be refunded the full amount of the purchase given the circumstances. I sent 3 photos to support my claim. 1st photo - the shade of the swatch I received is a darker gray than the swatch attached to the sofa.   2nd photo (fabric selection web page) - the shade of the sofa is presented as dark gray for the “Night” fabric and comparatively the same to the swatch I received. 3rd photo (web page called “shop the look”) - the shade of the sofa is light gray for the “Night” fabric showing a close likeness to the sofas I received.  Regarding the 1st photo, MH stated a slight variation is to be expected and their teams confirmed it was within tolerance of what they expect for the variance in color. Regarding the 2nd & 3rd photos, MH explained the difference of surrounding colors and tones played a large role in how the fabric appeared fully upholstered in the 2 photos. I assume their use of the word “large” is meant to explain the large color difference between the 2 photos on their website for the same fabric. Within a week of having received the 3 photos, MH modified the color on the “fabric selection” web page to represent a lighter color of gray for the “Night” fabric. One can surmise the prior image in the 2nd photo showing the “Night” fabric as dark gray was in error. Irrespective to MH’s error in representing the “Night” fabric as a dark gray color as seen in the 2nd photo, MH fails to acknowledge this was the color depicted in the photographic image at the time of my purchase, which held the promise of what was expected to be delivered.

Love the comfort level and how deep this sofa is, and love the fabric quality (performance linen). I got chocolate on it the first day and it came right off with water +shout wipe! Only thing I'm not too pleased with is after sitting on the sofa for a few hours there are dents in the cushions so it takes constant fluffing to make it look new. Also, its very low to the ground (and I'm short, 5'2), I had to order new end tables so they would be the correct height. I hope they publish a guide on how to get out certain food stains, I really hope it wasn't just luck that I got out the chocolate.

The Dune sofa arrived in time as expected and in excellent condition. The styling and quality of this sofa is impressive and a compliment to other furnishings in the room. The single seat cushion on a 75” sofa in an apartment living room has a feel of spaciousness as well as comfort. Have not had enough use of the sofa for any feedback about wear. However, our friends are somehow reticent about sitting on the sofa because it is too beautiful to mess up. We are extremely pleased with our online Maiden Home sofa purchase and will consider others in the future. Working with the staff was a nice experience. Thank you.

My husband and I both escape into books and movies over the weekend, so we’ve been enjoying hanging out on The Hudson near our fireplace as the weather changes. With its iconic silhouette and sophisticated mid-century design, the Hudson offers a refined look without compromising on comfort. I often find myself admiring the craftsmanship on this piece - the hand-wrought steel frame is so sleek and elegant.

Having never purchased furniture online before, I was a bit stressed waiting for our Carmine sofa and Perry chair to arrive. We had just had our living room painted, and I was sure the Flax color in Performance Textured Linen for the sofa with the Olive color in Performance Velvet would work. They are perfect! Our living room space is small, so the Perry chair fits just right. Did have to get used to the new velvet gas off smell, but it seems to be dissipating. Both are elegant, good quality upgrades and quite comfortable for the price.

Ordered a 9 piece Jones - a massive bone beauty for our great room. Use it for tv watching, entertaining, love making and move the ottomans around as needed. The design, style and profile of this piece is phenomenal. My designer was trying to put me into a 30k sectional from Minotti and she is eating crow after seeing this beauty (funny how designers work on a % of what I buy and just happen to push the most expensive stuff). Anyway I’m awfully pleased with this purchase, appreciate you folks delivering a quality product on time.

This sofa is fabulous. Comfortable and meticulously sewn cushions. Beautiful workmanship. I had asked for several swatches and chose the performance tweed fabric in smoke, It's a great color ( not too light/ not too dark) and soft to the touch. I had to sleep on it for a few weeks while recovering from surgery that prevented me from going upstairs. I wish my bed was as comfortable! Customer service was top notch and the sofa arrived earlier than originally estimated. The only thing I might change is the height - it's perfect for me ( 5' 2") but my 6' 2" husband finds it sits too low. Would ( and have) recommend Maiden Home without hesitation.

We love our Sullivan couch. It came on time and customer service was wonderful every step of the way. The couch is the most comfortable couch I’ve ever owned and I’m so happy with the performance linen it stands up to our two dogs very well. Highly recommend!

I cant believe i'm taking the time to write a review but i'm on train back from boston, have had a few glasses of cheap Amtrak wine and the wifi is kinda crummy ... besides this co deserves it. Ordered a dune sofa and its PERFECT. We debated very long and hard between the RH cloud and the MH Dune and we just went for it in a white linen in all its glory and potential for red wine disaster (peformance fabric, YES please) - couldnt be happier with our choice. This sofa is incredibly comfortable (not a deflated feather bag like the Cloud) and is pure luxe. I've always been big on keeping sex in the bedroom with a view that anywhere else is uncessarily uncomfortable but at my husbands persistence and the Dune's comfort - I may grant an exception. Would also highly recommend the design services team at Maiden Home - incredibly knowledgeable/helpful. We will shop with you again - maybe for that bed! LOL!

we purchased a Varick in performance basketweave - so far so good. This is our main tv watching sofa and it’s importantly very comfortable. The chaise is nice and wide which allows for effectively 2 people to stretch out or cuddle on it. Fabric is as shown on the swatch. Overall a nice experience and a well constructed high quality sofa.

I got my 117 inch chaise sectional in Pearl in August and couldn't be happier with it. It has totally changed the dynamic of my living room because it is so spacious and there are multiple "best spots" to sit. We have also gotten dozens of compliments, and really enjoyed hosting friends with the extra space. I was slightly nervous about getting a white couch, but I couldn't be happier with the performance material - a friend spilled a full glass of red wine on it last week (much to his horror), but it came out ENTIRELY. It is also so comfortable. My husband and I can both have our legs on the ottoman at the same time, which was a HUGE improvement comfort wise over our last couch. It is a low profile but in the best way -- you sink into it and want to sit for hours. I genuinely couldn't recommend more!

In looking to replace a sofa and easy chair for my small living room, I was delighted to discover the that the Irving sofa and Leroy chair complemented the space available. These pieces have a smaller footprint, but feel commodious. Maiden Home's online tutorials for selecting features helped me make the right choices for my home. I loved the regular email updates as I waited for delivery. They made the weeks fly by. When the pieces were delivered, the expert crew put them in place quickly and removed all the packaging. The pieces are beautifully made and the entire process was flawless.

I purchased Essex bed in king size. It's the most beautiful bed I've ever owned and very very nice quality! Only issue with the order was delivery process! Delivery person called me a day before and told me they are delivering my bed the next day. I was told if I am not around to receive the order, it may take another few months before I can receive my bed. I felt it was a little inconvenient since I had to make myself available to receive the order for next day urgently, but bed quality is superb so I am very happy overall!

While this table is by no means inexpensive it is significantly nicer than the 10k tables we considered. Saw the legs up close during assembly and like the table they have a exquisite natural grain.

The sofa construction and comfort is wonderful, and I love the look. I ordered the oyster performance linen fabric and anything so much as a smudge will not come off. I am a designer and followed the care instructions to a T. Maiden home just kept referring me to their cleaning instructions, which leave water marks all over the sofa. I had it professionally cleaned and then scotch guarded yesterday and the sofa looks worse- it’s dingey. I saw no other reviews like mine when researching but there’s are similar complaints on Instagram. I would be careful with the performance linen if you want stain proof, and would look at the sunbrella option - maybe that’s the better route.

I've very often used the Wythe and Thompson canopy bed in projects over the past few years but recently used the new Smith and Kent beds from MH. in a project. Clients are very happy with the quality, design for the price. Personally these styles show a character, level of taste that is fresh while retaining some of the classic nods I appreciate. Well done MH team.

Maiden Home has it all right! I recently received our Sullivan sectional, and it was beyond my expectations in appearance and comfort! It is truly a custom piece that will impress! Every step of this process was seamless too, thanks to the outstanding customer support and proactive communications from Dana and Maiden Home. Everything arrived on time (early even!) and without any hiccups. The white glove services today are rarely that, but everything was done to perfection with Maiden Home. Truly impressed, and have already recommended to friends and family and will absolutely use MH again in future for all my needs!

We've had our Warren for a year or two. We got the performance velvet in a gray color. It's holding up pretty darn well, even despite our cat and six year old doing their best to destroy it! Our daughter regularly uses the cushions for fort building and as a napkin. The cushions are holding their shape well, and it's pretty easy to spot clean. I do wish I could machine wash the covers, though. The couch is very very comfy, in my opinion. It's a good medium firmness, I think. You can sink in but not so much you can't get back up. The one thing that makes me hate the couch is the low profile on the back. You can't sit easily; you have to kind of lay down to get truly comfortable. Sitting up you have no support from basically your shoulder blades up, depending on your height. Drives us nuts. If this couch had a higher back (34" or so) and machine-washable covers it would be the world's best.

I waited a few months to write my review, since I knew the real test would come with the daily wear and tear my husband, dog and I put on a couch. The sofa itself is beautiful. It’s a lower profile than we expected but we are extremely happy with the way it looks in our home. While it’s a few inches shorter than our last couch, it feels bigger since it’s got two seat cushions and slimmer arms. The performance weave fabric was a little rough when we first got the couch, what do you expect considering it’s indestructible nature? But it has definitely softened over time and in no way would deter me from getting this fabric again and again, and this is why: a few nights ago I cut my finger while cooking, and I didn’t realize until several days later that I got a spot of blood on the sofa. It had dried by the time I noticed it and I was panicking about a stain on our new, and pricey, investment. lol and behold, the spot came up almost immediately when I wiped it with a wet rag! Will recommend Maiden Home to everyone who wears their furniture “hard” like us, but still wants a beautiful home!
