2/5  |  Great sofa terrible fabric
While we love the look and feel of the sofa we are extremely disappointed with the fabric. We have the performance velvet is sea foam and it is not durable at all. We keep it covered with a sheet most of the time and but it still looks dingy and patchy all over. Worst of all is that it is definitely not good for pets as promised - our cat has scratched up the side. We have had another sofa from a different brand with a performance velvet fabric for 5 years and have not experienced any of these issues. 6 months after receiving our sofa it feels like we wasted $8k

2/5  |  Not What I expected
All the pieces didn't arrive and the set-up was done incorrectly and left me not understanding what was missing from the order, but things happen and customer service has been great trying to address. As far as the unit it is definately noit what I expected from the look of it. I am a tall guy 6ft4, 210 with broad shoulders and my wife is aggravated that I use this couch to lean on while sitting on the carpet watching television or reading. "Why did we spend $8,000 dollars on a new couch for you to sit on the floor she asks? As hard as I try, I always feel like I am falling off this couch unless I remove all of the cushions which is far less comfortable. Even trying to nap laying length-wise on it doesn't work, I feel like I am going to tip over onto the floor, its just not built for anyone of any size and while we are weighing whether to return it and go without a couch for 4 month plus pay the 20% restocking fee, I figured I'd pass this review along to anyone who is on the tall side and if I was much shorter and had all the pieces I ordered I am sure I would be a happy customer. (repeat great customer service team, just not for me)

Thank you so much for your feedback, and we are so sorry to hear your Jones wasn’t the perfect fit! We offer a range of depth and comfort profiles in our collection and we’d be happy to help you find a piece that offers a deeper seat to suit your ideal preferences. We want to make sure you absolutely love your piece, so we are happy to start a return or exchange which would include a 10% return and exchange fee. I’ve been in touch over email, and we hope to find you a piece that you and your family will love for years to come.

2/5  |  Build quality and customer fell flat of expectations
After learning about Maiden Home in 2019, I was delighted when the Jones Modular Sofa was introduced as the layout and dimensions of my living are tricky. Upon receipt of the sofa, I was disappointed that the seat cushions were deformed after only about a week of light and careful usage, and the cushion cover was constantly puckered and misaligned from the cushion. In addition, although the sofa is advertised as modular, the modular seat that did not back up against a wall did not align with the seat backs of the sofa due to only one alligator clip installed. I contacted Maiden Home customer service regarding the issues above. After weeks of receiving the run around and providing numerous photos and videos as requested, a service technician was finally scheduled to arrive at my home. Although I provided photos and videos to Maiden Home, the service technician informed me that he was not informed of the issues and did not have the parts required to complete the service. He recommended the installation of an additional alligator clip and wrapping the seat cushions in Dacron, and he would require a second appointment after the items were ordered. I relayed this information back to Maiden Home customer service, and I again received responses days or several days after each correspondence. After several weeks of a very slow communication process, Maiden Home stated that they could only cover the cost of the alligator clip but would not cover the cost of remediating the cushions. The build quality of the couch cushions leaves much to be desired. Because the cushions are wrapped in a slippery material, the performance fabric couch cushion constantly shifts around it, leading to misaligned cushion covers. In addition, the seat cushion is dependent upon a foam material that loses its integrity after light usage. As a result, the seat cushion looks deformed, and as a result, the couch cover puckers. The couch cushion does not look anything like the pictures provided on the website and in the catalogue, and unfortunately Maiden Home customer service was completely unsupportive. If you would like to actually sit on the couch instead of just looking at it, I cannot recommend this couch at all and the lack of customer service is very disappointing.

Hi Margaret, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your experience and Jones. We appreciate your feedback on your communications experience. To explain, we always ask for photos and details to ensure that we have a full picture of each concern prior to bringing the issue to our quality team for review. In addition, we are truly sorry to hear that you're not enjoying the feel of your cushions! The Jones is intended to be a sink-in piece, and upon consulting with our craftsmen, our Quality team felt that the addition of Dacron, a material we do not use in our cushion construction, to your cushion cores would negatively impact the intended design and feel of the piece. Please do not hesitate to be in touch with our Customer Care Team with any questions at [email protected]!

1/5  |  Uncomfortable
The couch is too low to the ground, the seat is too deep, the back cushions lost their shape within a few months and I’m constantly getting poked by the feathers that make their way out of the fabric. We bought the couch because of the durability rating on fabric with a dog that likes to join us on the couch. The fabric has not held up as expected.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry your Jones modular sofa has not met your expectations. While we hope all our designs exceed expectations, we offer a 30-day return or exchange window as we know comfort is highly personal. The cushions on the Jones include down, so feather migration—the process of feathers escaping the cushions—is a natural process that does not negatively impact the wear of the cushions over time. Our Customer Care team has contacted you directly to further review your feedback, but if you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected].

1/5  |  Most uncomfortable couch ever
The Jones sofa (in Performance Linen Creme) is the most uncomfortable couch on the planet. I purchased 2 years ago (after loving our previous Warren purchase) and it has been horrible ever since. The fabric is rough and slippery, and the body is incredibly low but with a deep seat base it makes the lack of lumbar support very noticeable. It’s not cozy or modern, it’s just awful. We also spent well above our budget on it so unfortunately it’s here to stay. Deeply regret this purchase and hoping to save others from the same.

Hello, thank you for sharing your experience—we're sorry to hear that your experience with the Jones modular has not mirrored your previous experience with the Warren. The Jones offers a deeper seat than our Warren with its down cushioning and lower height. As you are outside the eligible 30-day return window, we are not able to offer an exchange. However, our Customer Care team is always available to offer expert recommendations and maintenance instructions at [email protected].

1/5  |  Awful. DO NOT BUY.
I bought this sectional in Seal leather 2+ years ago and, sadly, it has not held up. The construction on the back of one of the pieces fell apart within 6 months, and the leather has surprisingly faded badly. We do have high ceiling sky lights, however I wouldn’t expect this level of yellow fading as it hadn’t happened with our previous leather sectional we had for a decade in the same room. The kids and my husband don’t enjoy sitting in the room because of its unsturdy construction and it looks really bad with the fading. For the price I am very disappointed as I’m now shopping for a new sectional.

1/5  |  VERY BAD QUALITY
We purchased this sofa a couple of years ago and regret purchasing it so much. We recently built our modern home and felt that the Jones sofa would fit perfectly in our living space. Unfortunately, upon receiving this sofa we noticed their were weird creases right along the the seams of each seat cushion. At first I thought the creases/indentations would go away after the cushions settled and that this was just a result of how they were shipped. After emails and multiple phone calls to Maiden Home, the only thing they could tell us was to adjust the cushion seat inserts and that the problem was just a result of the inserts moving around. I've never had this kind of issue with a sofa before. I made several attempts to pull the selvedge around to sit properly on the cushion and after two years, no matter what I've done it is still misaligned. The insert is literally impossible to move. I also have to say it seems wrong that they have to ask their customers to correct manufacturing defects like this. I will never buy a product from this company again. Spend your money else where, it'll save you a lot of time and disappointment. PS. the manufacturing/shipping process takes a lot longer than the date promised.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your Jones. Our Customer Care team has been able to review this concern, as we are always eager to review any concerns that may arise throughout the lifetime of each piece. After reviewing with our expert Product team, our team has determined that the crease that is visible on The Jones' seat cushion is not a quality issue, but a result of the cushion insert shifting under the cushion cover with use. This can be resolved by adjusting the seat cushion insert, which will align The Jones seat cushion insert seam and seat cushion cover seam. Regarding our lead times, our team reviews our shipping timelines weekly to ensure that each timeline on each product page is an accurate estimate of when each piece will ship from our craftsmen partners. If our team may answer any questions or provide any additional information, please do not hesitate to be in touch with our team at [email protected].

1/5  |  Uncomfortable and Awkward
We ordered a large Jones modular sectional. I was impressed by the customer service, communication, lead times, and delivery. The couch appears to be very well made. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The sectional is extremely uncomfortable and awkward. We’ve had it for two weeks and have tried to love it, but we can’t get comfortable. The cushions are too firm, the performance linen fabric is scratchy, and it feels like we’re slipping off when we sit upright with our feet on the floor. We’ve polled multiple visitors and they’ve all disliked it as well. Everyone keeps shifting and moving to try to find a decent position, but ends up looking stiff and uncomfortable. Sadly, it’s not as visually exciting as I thought it would be either. It is very low to the ground and looks rather small despite the large measurements and price tag. I hate to write a negative review, because I love the company’s backstory and am very pleased with our other Maiden Home purchase, but this is a huge miss. I purchased the couch sight unseen based on the positive reviews posted on this website, which raved about its comfort and good looks, and I wish I had seen more honest feedback. We have made the difficult decision to pay a hefty 10% return fee and buy something else.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your Jones sectional. The Jones features signature spring down cushions with a foam wrapped spring system enclosed in a down and feather jacket, offering comfort as well as structure. This construction lends itself to a medium support profile, which will feel firmer than some of our more relaxed styles such as The Dune collection or The Sullivan collection. All dimensions of each piece can be found on each product page, and we offer a measuring guide on our site to assist in the measuring process for each piece prior to purchase. In addition, our team of expert Design Advisors is always available to answer any questions regarding piece dimensions or floorplans that may work best for each space, or to send out complimentary samples so that each fabric may be experienced in person as we know comfort is often highly personal. If our Customer Care team may answer any questions or provide any additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team at [email protected] - we are always happy to hear from you.

1/5  |  Terrible delivery/customer service.
We ordered the jones modular sofa, and later ordered an additional ottoman from the same collection. We waited over 10 weeks to receive this item and finally 12 weeks later, we get a call to schedule delivery the next day. The driver called us and mentioned he'd arrive in 10-15 min. My husband cancelled his meeting to be ready for the delivery and had to juggle a few things to make that happen. An hour went by and no sign of driver. So I called the driver and he said, oh sorry your item isn't even on our truck. It didn't occur to him to give us a call to let us us know they had no plans to arrive. Sooo ridiculously unprofessional. I then call Maiden Home and the Rep apologizes and says she can't do anything until the following week. Mind you, this is Friday afternoon (2pm) and they can't do anything at all!? I've yet to receive a call from the delivery service or a call from Maiden Home. I am completely upset with this company and will make it a point never to recommend this company and to let others know what to expect. Completely unacceptable.
