Love our new couch. We got the irving 101" chaise sectional with walnut legs and cloud performance chevron fabric (being very specific because looked at so many reviews before buying — I want to pay it forward by being as thorough as possible!). The material is fantastic: soft, textured, and just really pretty overall. I love the look of the couch too. I will admit that I expected the back cushions to be a little taller, but after living with it for three weeks I think the height works well and gives great back support (I'm 5'2"). I also was relieved to find that it is super comfortable. The comfort profiles of the different MH couches made me wonder whether the Irving would be stiff or hard, but it's not at all that way. The other couches must be really, really soft, because the Irving is springy, plush, and really comfortable. My boyfriend's only critique is that he thinks the arms should be a little more padded, but I think that's just part of the design of the couch. If we had wanted padded arms, we could have bought a different couch. Personally, I love the look of the arms, and they are quite sturdy! Can't comment on the white glove delivery service because ours was delivered amid the COVID-19 crisis in NYC, so both our building and the delivery company wouldn't allow the deliverymen to come into our building at all. The company offered to keep the couch at the storage facility for two months until it could be delivered, but we wanted it ASAP. The company was very responsive when I had questions about coordinating the delivery though, so that aspect of it was great. Really happy with the purchase!

5/5  |  Perfect Couch for my NYC apartment
Have been looking for a leather modular sofa for a while to fit in the ever-changing space of my New York apartment. When I saw this launching I wanted something different than the Restoration hardware stuff some of my friends had. SO GLAD that I went with Maiden Home. So are the people who keep coming over to watch a game and never wanting to get up! Delivery up my apartment building was a breeze and the sofa is soooo comfortable. Looks great, feels great, and can’t wait to add on to it in the future.

5/5  |  We Love Our Warren Sectional
As an interior designer, II was hesitant to buy a sectional online without the opportunity to sit in it first. However, I always love to support another femalel entrepreneur, and the wonderful information and descriptions online along with all of the positive reviews encouraged us to take the leap of faith. Boy did that pan out. We love our new Warren Sectional. Our whole family fits comfortably and the performance linen is crisp, beautiful and easy to keep clean. The details are all there, and the comfort is sink-in good. The personalized order updates and fabulous customer service made the entire process super easy and enjoyable. We've already placed another order for a Sullivan chair, and I've sold several pieces to my clients. Glad to have Maiden Home as a new resource!

4/5  |  Nice Sofa but prefer firmer dense seat cushions
The fabric, customer service, delivery was great. The sofa also seems well made structure wise and is comfortable but I wish the seat cushions were firmer and more dense. I am hoping the cushions settle down as the piece breaks in.

Sofa is firm and tailored but has enough seat depth and give to the cushions to make it cozy. We went with the performance linen. Looks beautiful. My daughter got tomato sauce on the cushion and it came right up. Seeing some loose strings and piling from the linen but it comes right off. Would highly recommend!

Sofa was delivered with 2 snags. We have been in correspondence for weeks without a resolution. Bummer as we recommend your sofas all the time-please resolve! Rebuild the sofa cushion.

I love my new bed and my bedside tables. They’re exactly what I hoped and they make my bedroom look beautiful. The only part of this purchasing process that I have been frustrated with is the customer service after the delivery. The bed was delivered and it was not installed properly and there were dirt marks on the upholstery. When I noticed it was not installed properly I contacted customer service. They were very accommodating on the phone, however, it has been months since they told me a company would be reaching out to me to correct the errors. Every time I reach out to them to let them know no one has contacted me they give me the same message, which is that someone will be reaching out to me shortly. I’ve paid a lot of money for this furniture and I don’t want to have to fix it, but at this point I’m getting ready to adjust it myself.

4/5  |  An amazing addition to my home
My Irving sofa is absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and comfort level is SUPER-high -- I still won't let the dog on it (because IT'S GORGEOUS!) but I love it, and it exceeds my expectations in every way. It DID take a long time to build, and I docked one star off of this review only because there was an issue with the local delivery company (not sure if the fault was Maiden Home's or the Local carrier, but delivery was late and a bit of an inconvenience) but Maiden Home was communicative throughout the situation. It's a gorgeous piece, and while certainly an investment, not one I regret AT ALL.

4/5  |  5 Star Sofa, 2 Star Delivery
I'll start by saying that we LOVE our new sofa! It's absolutely beautiful, well crafted, high quality fabric and serves as a wonderful focal piece in our living room. It quickly became my new favorite thing about coming home. Ordering process was transparent and I felt well informed throughout. When supply chain issues delayed our delivery by a few weeks, customer service was communicative, kind and responsive. The day of delivery, however, was a different story. The delivery service arrived and demanded that we pay them an additional amount, in cash, because we were having the sofa delivered to a higher floor. When we pushed back they then implied that they did not speak English and did not understand. They made it clear that they were unwilling to deliver the sofa until we gave them cash. We eventually got the delivery company on the phone - the delivery men spoke clearly in English to them, and the sofa ultimately came upstairs without the up front exchange of cash. Once it was in, the younger member of the delivery team attempted to assemble the sofa incorrectly and quite forcefully. While the elder member of the delivery team stopped him and assembled it correctly, the coupling hardware is now bent and the 2 pieces of our sofa to not line up. It's only about 1" off but it's disappointing that our sofa was damaged before we even got to sit on it due to lack of knowledge regarding the assembly process. When we came downstairs a few hours later, we found big balls of packaging tape and plastic on the sidewalk in front of our building. Easy enough to clean up but surprised by the littering. The delivery was certainly not the "white glove" experience that we were promised - could have hired guys from Craigs List that would have done the same (if not better) job.

4/5  |  Exactly what we wanted
Y’all, my wife and I bought a new home and decided on the mid century modern vibe, and so we needed new furniture. We knew we were going to spend a pretty penny, but we were all for it. We looked for months to find the perfect piece, and our Muir sofa is literally the one. We got the 110 inch big boy, with performance chenille harbor fabric in the pecan finish. We also got the matching Bowery ottoman. Seriously, it’s beautiful - both of them. Perfect for the space. It’s classy and light, but doesn’t seem to be built for an outside patio. Other than the occasional cracking noise that seems to just be the pice settling in, we are absolutely confident in its sturdiness and quality. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 you ask? It’s the fabric. Seriously, it’s great, but fyi if you have cats, even their back claws have been causing loops to happen in the fabric. I can’t say it’s the couch’s fault, but it is frustrating because we can’t keep the cats off it, and by the time we figured we’d just have to put a blanket on it unless company is over, there were close to 20 spots where they caused an issue. We’ll have to just flip it when we have people over and it’s uncovered, but it’s definitely a downside to the purchase in general. Nonetheless, we absolutely recommend this couch to anyone looking for a truly stunning addition to your home.

We like the sofa we ordered but noticed a nick in the very expensive fabric when it was too late. Notified customer service and was told it was too late since we didn’t notice it at delivery. Delivery people were nice, but didn’t want to stand around while we inspected the sofa. They were ready to move on to the next delivery. Too bad for us, we don’t have any remediation for this issue. Buyer beware!

3/5  |  Great chairs, awful multi-day delivery experience
I love the chairs I ordered. However, I had the most terrible delivery experience which soured the entire purchase. I was trapped in my house on a Friday for 12h awaiting the delivery, which never arrived. I was never informed this would be the ultimate outcome, and finally at 9pm, gave up waiting. The next "rescheduled" day, Saturday, the delivery also never came. Finally, on the third "rescheduled" delivery day, I had to pay someone stay at my house so that the chairs could be delivered in the middle of the day b/c I was given an 8h time window in the middle of a workday. I asked to have it narrowed down b/c of the 2 terrible days we spent awaiting the delivery, but I was told this was not possible. The experience was the worst one I've ever had with furniture. Rh (4 custom leather barstools, and 6 custom leather DR chairs) was absolutely fantastic in terms of their delivery scheduling, as was BenchMade Modern (an oversized custom leather couch), and many lesser-known growing furniture companies working to get into the custom furniture market. I'm looking to purchase a custom master bed as well as more chairs, and honestly, I"m so terribly turned off from MaidenHome b/c of the horrific delivery experience, I'm planning to go with Rh again despite slightly higher prices. It's so unfortunate b/c the chairs are quite nice looking. I just can't chance being held hostage in my home awaiting the delivery. My husband and I are both FT physicians w/ busy work schedules.

3/5  |  Overall nice, very high price for the quality
Overall, I like the chair. However there are some things that stand out: - The shearling is inconsistent - tighter curls in some sections, much looser in others - this gives it the appearance of some wear and tear even though it's brand new. - The seat is a bit shallow, would have been more luxurious if deeper These things would feel more acceptable if the chair was half the price. For $2200, I don't know it was worth it.

I thought this was going to be a very comfortable reading chair but unless you put a pillow behind your back it’s actually a bit stiff. Also a bit shiort in the leg area. Needs an ottoman badly.

3/5  |  Beautiful couch but not real performance fabric
The look of this couch is beautiful. I love the shape, size lines of it. I love how the cushions connect to the couch with below So it doesn’t slide. BUT the fabrics is not a high quality performance fabric. If anything gets on it, you cannot wipe it off without getting major rings. It’s been super frustrating. I’ve taken the fabric off the cushions a few times and machine washed them and it gets all the marks off, but parts of the fabric are pilling as a result. It’s too bad.

3/5  |  I was expecting better
My couch has lumps on the front edges of the couch. My husband used to upholstery couches when he was in high school and complained that this is upholstered subpar, especially for the price. The couch is comfortable but it is definitely not much better than a box store couch. I do think the cushions are great quality made but the upholstered frame is not. I wish I would have just bought a leather couch from a chain store for this price. I would not recommend this couch especially after the almost three month wait. The delivery was great but that is contracted out.

3/5  |  High quality, but uncomfortable
This is a beautiful sofa that was clearly made with care. However, I wish I had been able to sit on one before ordering, and if I had, I wouldn’t of ordered it. The back of the sofa is quite low, lower than an average sofa, so there isn’t much support, especially for a tall person. The seats themselves are deep which is comfortable, but the back is disproportionately short. The over all sofa height is also very low, which makes getting in and out of it difficult for some people, like elderly adults. The back cushions are not attached, and I have to constantly adjust it when using the chaise, as it smooshes down into the crack between the chaise and back sofa frame. Because of the extremely low back, my husband and I can not comfortably use the couch for TV watching without larger pillows propped up behind us. I’m 5’9, and the sofa is just too small in height to support my frame. These are all likely my fault, as I should have measured and compared the height to my current sofa, but I have never sat on one so low before, and didn’t expect this to be a problem. Maiden home does have a return program, but I would lose $600 doing so, so it’s not financially plausible for me. Once again, construction of the sofa is nice and it’s a beautiful piece. But I would not get it as your main family lounging sofa.

I waited six months for this chair and it is so uncomfortable. Overstuffed pillows. Bulky arm rest. Etc. If you’re in search of something cozy, go elsewhere. I guess it looks okay, but clearly this wasn’t designed with comfort in mind.

2/5  |  Beautiful Sofa, Big Regrets
I ordered a Warren sofa last August. It arrived in December and I'm writing this review now to share our experiences after about 6 months of living with it. Our Warren is a 136 x 105 L Sectional. It is upholstered in the Salt Performance Tweed. We also added the Bench seat cushions and matching ottoman. While the manufacturing process did take about 4 months, it was expected and considering that it was during covid I was surprised that the sofa arrived petty much on schedule. Maiden did an excellent job of keeping us up to date on the process. When the sofa arrived, I found it to be inadequately packaged for shipping. The bases were wrapped in a single layer of plastic not much thicker than commercial grade saran wrap and a lot of it was hanging off and dragging behind the sofa as it was delivered. The cushions we not wrapped at all. Consequently the sofa had several black scuff marks which took a couple of hours to remove. I was very apprehensive about ordering what is effectively a white fabric for our every day sofa, but the scuff marks did come completely out. We also had a scare with red wine a couple of weeks later which also came completely out. The fabric seems to handle acute stains very well, but (and this is one of the big regrets), it does not stand up to every day use at all. Within a couple of months, the fabric became very dingy. The arm rests are noticeably darker than the rest of the frame and the bench cushions have taken on a blueish hue on the edges where your legs touch which I'm guessing is the result of repeated contact transfer from jeans. We've followed all of the cleaning instructions from both Maiden and Sunbrella but have not seen much improvement. We've also purchased an upholstery wet vacuum which shows in a modest improvement, but a few weeks later the sofa needs another pass. It's basically an all day affair, between the vacuum and drying time, and I just don't want to have to put that much time into maintaining a couch. The warren is replacing a sofa purchased from RH about 8 years ago which is upholstered in a light belgian linen. Our Warren now looks more used than the RH sofa. A quick search of the fabric, which I wish occurred to me before I purchased, shows many similar experiences from other people who purchased pieces from other manufacturers. We purchased a Dune chair and a half upholstered in Mineral performance Linen to go with the Warren. While it is a little darker, it sees as much use as the sofa and is much cleaner looking. I don't think the Performance Tweed should be marketed or sold as an everyday fabric. I also think as a direct to consumer merchant, Maiden should do a better job of vetting the fabrics they offer. 6 months in, we are already shopping for a replacement. A couple of other impressions: I thought I was being clever by ordering the bench cushions thinking that they would cut down on the accumulation of dirt, change, legos and everything else that finds its way between couch cushions. While this is true, they aren't that comfortable. Sitting in the middle has kind of an air mattress effect, where the ends raise up a bit. Also the edge seams are becoming mis aligned with teh edge of the cushions which just looks bad. Kind of nit picky, but at $5K, I had different expectations. Finally the quality of the ottoman was bad for the start. The top cushion didn't fit correctly into the fabric resulting in a lopsided mushroom shape. Maiden offered to replace it for free, but with the performance of the fabric we opted to return it instead. The return of the ottoman was painless.

2/5  |  Had to have professionally cleaned after 6 weeks
The sofa construction and comfort is wonderful, and I love the look. I ordered the oyster performance linen fabric and anything so much as a smudge will not come off. I am a designer and followed the care instructions to a T. Maiden home just kept referring me to their cleaning instructions, which leave water marks all over the sofa. I had it professionally cleaned and then scotch guarded yesterday and the sofa looks worse- it’s dingey. I saw no other reviews like mine when researching but there’s are similar complaints on Instagram. I would be careful with the performance linen if you want stain proof, and would look at the sunbrella option - maybe that’s the better route.

Initially I thought the sofa looked great. But the longer I’ve had it yet more unhappy I am with the price I paid for it. Since day 1 my husband complained that the sofa wasn’t very high and not very comfortable to sit in because of that. I finally pulled out a measuring tape and he is right- it’s supposed to be 35 inches tall and it is only 30 inches. So a lot different. Plus the back pillows are a good 2 inches from the top of sofa as well. Also, I was expecting the cushions to be much softer but they are quite firm and it’s not very comfortable for sitting for long periods of time. I really wanted to continue to support this company but unfortunately I think this will be my last purchase.

First of all, we like the fabric quite a bit. It seems tough but smooth to the touch and soft at the same time. If you lie down and distribute your weight somewhat evenly it's quite comfortable and if you put a little work into it, it can look pretty good. Delivery time far exceeded expectations. The comfort when seated leaves a lot to be desired. To some extent, this is just a feature of a long, two cushion couch but the cushions sag hard to the middle or either end, depending on where you're sitting, often lifting the other side of the cushion off the base of the couch. What's more, they develop serious indents after sitting on them for any length of time so they need to constantly be rotated to maintain the look and feel. There is no rotation combination that perfectly aligns the two seat cushions in the middle, as one seems to be a bit firmer and stuffed slightly thicker than the other, leaving the cushion on one side awkwardly higher than the other where they meet in the middle. Similarly, there seems to be a very slight imbalance between the left and right sides of the springs in the base. The rear cushions feel overstuffed and protrude way into the sitting area, yet somehow wrinkle very easily around the top and bottom, like the stuffing doesn't fit the casing If you sit back into them, they fold around you and the ends stick out around your sides. Given the sagging and creasing that's already happening, on top of what feel like some design and QC flaws, I have a lot of worries about how it will hold up in the long run.

The workmanship and quality of this piece is undeniable. The fabric quality is also excellent (we got sapphire velvet, really beautiful). However, this couch is NOT comfortable. It's not a "drop in it and binge watch your favorite show" kind of piece and I very much regret the purchase and wish we'd returned it within the 30 days. Since getting this piece, I refuse to spend any time in this room because there is no enjoyment in being on this couch. So disappointed. Surprised more reviews don't reflect this opinion. Great company and quality but I'd say that functionally...this isn't your couch if you want cozy comfort.

1/5  |  Poor Fabric Quality
While I really want to give this sectional a 5 star review, I just can't and want to share my experience with others. Overall, the sectional is beautiful and very comfortable. Unfortunately, the fabric that we chose was horrible and has not held up at all. We chose a chenille and it has pilled and worn terribly. Within less than a year I could tell that we had made a mistake in terms of the fabric. I contacted customer service and they were helpful and offered to replace the bottom cushion covers which was very generous but it really won't help with the upholstered portion of the sofa. They also suggested a fabric shaver but who wants to have to shave a $4k+ couch. Now a couple years old and the cushion covers are coming apart at the seams and I have had to resew them! Sorry, but for the price we paid for this couch I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this couch. And let me add that we are gentle with this couch. No one is allowed to eat, jump or rough house on the sofa. So very disappointed! Definitely not performance fabric like they claimed!

After a long (2+ months) wait, our couch arrived both stained and with frayed and damaged fabric on one of the corners. Customer service has been entirely unhelpful and has done very little to rectify the issue. Would not recommend purchasing from this company.

This is in regards to the whole cancelling / return process. It has been one frustrating disaster still not rectified. All customer service leading up to it was great which is why I went with maiden home but factors in my life changed so I needed to cancel my order. Although it has not shipped they would not allow me to cancel. I had to get the item delivered to cancel. A date was picked and designed for me. Luckily it worked with my roommates. Now the pick up for return I wait several weeks before getting any update. A date was nominated for me and luckily my roommates would be home so I confirmed as they asked however that date was for yesterday where it did not happen. I still have not heard back from the pick up / delivery company. I have called several times and sent another email. So now I had to call maiden home again but of course since it’s another company they use I have to wait and now she said it may not happen this week. I really needed the pick up to occur yesterday so my refund can be processed. I’m already having to pay re stocking fee for an item I’m not keeping and currently paying for a couch I have not used. Such a inconvenience and headache.

Ordered Furniture June 2021 ($7500 worth).....I understand it takes some time to build furniture and they give me a date of August. Well I get update September and then October and now its November and still NO FURITURE. I am told they shipped it and Customer services gives me a Number for ME TO CALL. No problem i call them and I find out they delivered the furniture to the WRONG STATE. Then I am informed that they will not deliver my furniture until probable after January 1!! Needless to say I want my money back at this point. Lots of show on website but the execution is more like congress with lots of lip service but NOTHING TO SIT ON!

I was totally taken in by the marketing and I regret this purchase! While this sofa looks nice it is highly uncomfortable. The cushions have the feel of large cheap foam blocks. When you sit in the corners by the arms the cushions cave in and when you sit more in the center of the cushions they feel hard and very uncomfortable. I'm annoyed that after waiting this long and taking a chance on a new company that they get to keep 10% of my hard earned money. Wish I had not bought into the marketing.

Our sofa was ordered in April, shipped to us on June 9th. Maiden home used Home Delivery hub to deliver the couch. They only had two days available: June 27th and July 11th. I tried to pick June and was notified the ‘truck was too small for delivery that day’ and had to pick July 11th. I was given the delivery time of 12-4pm. I sat around way past 4pm trying to contact customer service for Maiden Home and Home delivery hub but literally all of their customer service options and additional lines such as dispatch went to voicemail. It is now almost a full 24 hours past when our couch was supposed to be delivered and I still haven’t heard from either company.
