It was a no-brainer to select a bed that was so elegant - it’s such an amazing statement piece that elevates the entire room. You can really see the expert craftsmanship in every detail, including the welt finished edge of the upholstered headboard and the rounded corner detailing of the hand-carved frame. I chose the Polar Performance Boucle fabric, because it adds subtle texture to the room but doesn’t compromise on durability. My parents travel to see us and often stay for a couple of weeks at a time. The Thompson Bed is comfortable enough for them to stay for long periods and also recharge after a long day of chasing after a 2-year-old and a newborn!

After many years of searching, so many emails, and a final pre-purchase phone conversation with Dana, our Oatmeal tweed Sullivan sectional was delivered before the 6-week order window. In short, we are thrilled. We have a narrow room and I was worried the piece might overpower the space, but it looks like it was made for the area. Guests comment that it is perfect in every way, and I have two friends that have asked about Maidenhome for their own sectional search. I gush so much about how happy we are that we made the decision, even though it was sight and sit unseen that I promised them I am not a representative for the company. The delivery team was polite, on time, and made sure that I was happy with the piece. The family (and teens) all approve, and I am already looking for my next Maidenhome piece (a chair) to compliment my Sullivan. In terms of sit, it is so comfy. I chose the standard option of down. We have put the performance fabric to the test a handful of times already and any spot has come out quickly (kids and chocolate chip cookies). I periodically fluff the back pillows but don’t mind that at all. I wish I would have ordered years ago!

After searching for 6 months for the perfect sofa, and trying REALLY hard to avoid buying online, I finally gave in and took the risk to buy something that I had never sat on or seen I person. I am so glad I did! I've only had it a few weeks, but it is so comfortable and looks great. I have recommended Maiden Home to everyone who comes in my door, and I'm already planning my next purchase. My only complaint is that I wish they had even more of a variety and offered other furniture pieces like ottomans, dressers, dining tables, etc.

We love this sofa - so much we just ordered a second! Our family moved during covid and now downsizing back to NYC with our three kids, we loved our large sectional so much we ordered a smaller size for our apartment. Three small kids and a dog and the sofa we sold to the new homeowners looks new, incredible!

The Delancey Barstools are a showstopper in my kitchen! Not only are they comfortable, but the quality and materials used are beautiful. The metal detailing, the wood grain, and the fabric are clearly of the highest quality and make the piece feel incredibly thoughtful and luxurious. I love my new stools!

I recently got my Sullivan sectional - it is awesome. All aspects of this process - swatches, ordering, delivery were beyond my expectations. I haven’t used this type of service before - but maiden home is my go to for my home, and my advice to friends and family. Just a great experience.

I'm very happy with how this chair turned out. I ordered the blue mohair and it's so soft and rich feeling. I'd say the chair is slightly on the petite side, which worked out for me since I'm small, but maybe a little too petite for a larger person. That said, very comfortable and I'd buy it again!

First purchase with Maiden Home. Top notch quality. Really nice sofa. We have only had for a few months so I can't speak to the long term quality but so far the Varick has met/exceeded all my expectations. The Performance Velvet is gorgeous and practical. Overall, very comfortable. Like another reviewer mentioned though the back may be a bit too low for a taller person expecting to lounge. Our family ranges from 5'3"-5'7" so works fine for us, though on occasion my S.O. would like more head/neck support while sitting, but even if we had known this beforehand it would not have been a deal breaker. Also as mentioned in other reviews, the bench seat requires frequent smoothing out if visual asthetics are a priority - I don't mind a little extra fuss as the bench seat is worth it in my opinion (and this may just be the velvet, its possible other fabrics may not do the same.) I truly appreciated the range of lenghths offered for the Varick. We have a small home with an awkward shaped living room. We don't have the room for multiple seating options. We have a 90" Varick and two of the matching ottomans (one larger and one small) this way if we have company we can scoot the ottomans around for stand-alone seating and when its just us we can make a giant nest for movie nights and lounging. Ottomans are probably not something most people think about when purchasing a sofa. I am truly thankful the Varick had some very nice sizing options to match this beautiful sofa as these ottomans have been a game changer for our living space. The only caveat to this glowing review is my experience with the shipping process. This may be because we live in the middle of nowhere. However, the sofa eventually arrived and in perfect condition. Communication with the shipping company was difficult to say the least. And once Maiden Home released the shipment on their end it was out of their hands. MH did their best to help me out but there really wasn't much they could do. I mention this not to be critical of my buying experience but rather to let prospective buyers know your patience may be required.

I really wanted to wait to write a review because I wanted to live with the sectional for a while. Ordered in March,2021 received in mid-August and now it’s January 2022. We have two cats and they have shredded just about every piece of furniture we buy. Honestly, I have no business buying another couch while they are still alive so that’s why I didn’t want to spend a fortune and also went with a fabric that would be maybe less attractive to cats. I contacted Maiden Home and they suggested Merino so I went with Merino Heather Gray. I don’t know why I wasn’t more nervous plunking down $4k on a sectional I’ve never seen or sat on in person but I just went for it since I was so sick of our other couches and was ready for a fresh look in our family room. Upon delivery, I have to say, I wasn’t “wowed” at first. It has definitely a lower back profile than I was expecting. The size of the L shape was just perfect and I did like that it wasn’t as deep as our last Crate and Barrel Lounge sofas. The fabric was soft just like the sample they sent but it wasn’t a “sink in the couch” kind of sectional. Now, months later, we really are happy with our choice and it looks absolutely brand new like the day we got it. Only one cat has attempted to scratch her nails on it but I keep a spray water bottle next to it and have also covered that arm with clear packing tape to dissuade her. So far so good. Our golden retriever gets up on the couch occasionally but no stains to the fabric yet at all. I do wish they had a few more fabric options with more texture but we are happy with it for sure and highly recommend. My friend just got a sectional, ordered at the same time from West Elm. She’s still missing a piece of her sectional (they messed up the order) and I don’t like hers nearly as much as mine :)

IMHO the Sullivan is a classic style that will never look dated, and can work with any decor. The loose back cushions stay in place, I never need to fix and fluff them. We are shorties, so I knew the generous seat depth might leave our feet hanging when sitting upright. Well, a comfortable throw pillow in back solves that beautifully, but here's the thing: this is a family room, we come here to relax and sprawl, and the Sullivan accommodates us perfectly! The bench seat was important to me, it's a cleaner look, and I love that it has clips to hold it in place. BTW, the gently sloping arms really are perfectly proportioned to be used as arm rests, or head rests. I was originally going to go for a sectional and then purchase a coffee table somewhere. I'm glad I re-thought that when Dana let me know MH offered ottomans in different sizes. The ottoman has turned out to be a very versatile piece for us - it is our coffee table (I added a beautiful tray, just large enough to truly hold things, like drinks and snacks), it also provides comfortable extra seating, and best of all, when I push it up to the sofa, and I tuck into the sofa corner and put my feet up, I realize this is a perfect alternative to the sectional, plus I didn't have to buy a coffee table! Clearly Maiden Home places a high value on customer service. My entire experience, from shopping through delivery, was wonderful. I will be back.

purchased 4 of these for nyc loft 1 bedrooms we rent out via Airbnb in downtown manhattan - mainly to corporate clients or folks around the film industry. very impressed with the quality of these beds and how great they look after a year plus of use. the leather has aged beautifully and have had guests ask where the beds are from. love buying from a local TriBeCa company for our guesthouses and the quality is 100% there. thanks

We recently received our Jones Modular sofa and LOVE IT!! Not only is it beautiful to look at, but it is dreamy to sit in. It is made incredibly well, just the right firmness, and it's like art to look at. We have 8 people in our family and we bought a U shaped modular with enough room for 12. It is roomy, firm, but slouchy enough, and the fabric is super high quality and soft to the touch. Delivery was seamless and the couch arrived earlier than expected-we couldn't be happier. We are several weeks now into our new Carmine (Tuscany leather) sofa -- and it is living up to its billing! We had initial reservations about buying a sofa without having tested it -- aka, sitting on it in a showroom -- before committing to purchasing it. But Hannah helped us through that and steered us toward the Carmine, based on the solid support we wanted (we didn't want to sink too deeply into the cushions; and we didn't want the sofa backed with cushions). The Carmine turned out to be just the right support/comfort we were looking for, and the leather is positively buttery. Cannot recommend high enough. Also, the delivery folks were top-notch; it wasn't easy getting it (95 inches) through the front door of our Manhattan apartment, but they did it.

Very happy to have found this table / a perfect fit at the end of a hallway on the first floor of our home. Placed under a vintage mirror it’s such a charming nook. The piece itself is exquisite / the design of the edge and the legs are hallmarks of beautiful design and construction. Truly worth the price and it something I think we will have for years to come. Very happy with the pecan finish - we debated between this and a darker one but happy we chose pecan.

I am absolutely thrilled with my new Sullivan Sectional! I work in the interior design business and have been on the hunt for the perfect sofa for my own home, as well as something that I could whole heartedly recommend to my clients. I design for the average family, where the furniture needs to not only be beautiful, but also durable enough to handle the daily wear of kids and pets. Usually, the cost of this combination is more than double of what Maiden Home costs. I love that MH has cut out the middle man, and caters specifically to the client.
