We bought two Sullivan sofas to flank our fireplace. They make the room look polished. Sofas are luxurious looking and super comfortable to sit on. I was impressed because the cushions hold their shape nicely and don’t have to constantly be fluffed up like another sofa I own that is mostly filled with feathers.

I wanted a well constructed, durable (we have 3 boys) couch that was made in the USA. After months of research and shopping in furniture stores, we decided to go with maiden home’s 2 Sullivan couches in cloud chevron. Design and customer service were very helpful and put my mind at ease. It’s a big purchase for something that you can’t see and touch first. We received our couches after about 10 weeks. Delivery service was exceptional and we can’t be happier with the couches. The color is slightly lighter than the swatch but it works for us. I will say, the Sullivan a casual, comfy couch that isn’t made to look perfect all the time. The pillows are down so they need to be fluffed. I haven’t had any problems with the seat cushion that some of the negative reviewers have mentioned. I would highly recommend this company and their furniture.

I've bought a few couches in my life, some were cheap and some were more expensive than this one. This is the very first time that I feel good about a furniture purchase. Every other couch I've had just felt... cheap. Lightweight, the foam would break down fairly quickly, the fabric was just ok. This couch? Solidly built, the build quality that's advertised is the quality that's delivered. The cushions feel like they will hold up for a long time. The fabric is beautiful. I have confidence that this couch will be with me for a long time. If anything dreadful ever happens to the upholstery I know that this couch is built well enough that it would be worth it to reupholster if I wanted a change for whatever reason. I feel very confident that this couch will be with me for many years to come.

We were blown away by the excellent communication from this company regarding the process of creating our pieces and the follow up after we received them. They not only arrived in perfect condition—exactly as we ordered them—and beautiful, but Maiden Home contacted us to make sure they were everything we wanted. What a company! What a product!

I'm so happy with my new sofa! It arrived in perfect condition and looked just like I expected. It has a streamlined, formal look but is SO comfortable to sit on. The cushions are easy to fluff and the linen fabric I chose is beautiful. I was so impressed with the whole process - the design team answered questions for me before I ordered, I got updates during production, and I had the piece quickly compared to other furniture vendors right now. The care and quality Maiden Home takes in their products is evident. I only wish I had gotten the sectional! This certainly won't be my last order.

We’re enjoying our Sullivan sofa and chair-and-a-half here in Montana. They’re comfortable and pleasing to the eye. The delivery went smoothly and the fabrics we chose were true to the swatches and online photos. We’re very happy! The only “concern” is that a few down feathers have poked through the fabric. Maybe this is normal and will abate.

I just received my Sullivan Chaise Sectional that I ordered for my husbands home office. I got it in the merino fabric and its fabulous. The cushions are super comfy and the construction is perfect. I also have a Sullivan sofa in the Performance Linen in the Oyster color. I've had it for a little under a year by now and it's amazing. Again, super comfortable. I have had many clients orders seating from Maiden Home and they are all 100% satisfied with the quality, comfort and they feel like they got a very fair price.

It is hard to find and the Sullivan is a beautiful and good quality one. Definitely happy to support the craftsmanship, care and eco-focus of this company

My Sullivan sectional is amazing! Maiden Home made this journey effortless. Your designer helped me decide on a size to fit my space. Because of Covid delays I was surprised when my Sofa was delivered in specified time frame. Delivery company was courteous and prompt. I'd do this again in a heartbeat. JUST FABULOUS!

It's take me almost a month to write this review. I think I have been sleeping/napping on my new Sullivan chaise the whole time!!! I absolutely love it! The comfort, the color, the material, excellent all the way around. It also came a month and a half early, can't beat that. The delivery was very smooth and the men were completely competent. I waited a year before making a decision on a sofa, searching box stores and online. I must have sat on a number of sofas and still came back to Maiden Home. I took a leap of faith and have not regretted it at all!! Thank you Maiden Home

I purchased the Sullivan sofa and two Downing chairs with one ottoman. They are beautiful and seem very well made. The chair frames and ottoman have lighter frames than I expected, but are sturdy enough. Details are very nice. The fabric is true to the samples I received, which was very helpful in choosing paint colors. Overall a great experience. There is a lot of information on fabrics: composition, durability, rubbing, pilling, etc. Also ratings on comfort and support in chairs and sofa was very helpful in making decisions. I spoke with two design consultants to help me make the choice. I was a bit nervous about ordering online and not "doing sit tests", but it worked out great. I cannot be more pleased with the pieces. The furniture arrived a little ahead of estimated date. Was great! Would buy from Maiden Home again. Loved the customizable service. Always hated the "do you want it in white or black or beige" choices at retail stores. Wishing company great success.

Maiden Home is the best! As an interior designer, I have used many companies for custom made furniture, and I have loved Maiden Home the best. They are made domestically, which is a huge, huge bonus because there is no additional freight or lead time. I also appreciated that the company under-promised and over delivered the sofas. We were told late June, but they were delivered 3 weeks early to my client's delight. They have a huge range of fabrics, and easy customization. I also wanted to custom make my own pillows for the client, so was easily able to order yards of fabric. I will work with Maiden Home again and again!

My husband and I have been so happy with our Maiden Home experience! I have to admit that we were a little nervous about making such a big purchase without trying the sofa in person first, but after browsing through the helpful details on the website, all of the gorgeous images on Instagram, and glowing customer reviews, we decided to take the plunge. Thankfully we made the right decision! We appreciated the email updates throughout the process, and our sofa was actually completed earlier than promised. We thought it felt a little firm when it first arrived, so we put the main seat cushion on the floor and jumped around on it for 10 minutes. Now it feels like home! After many years of searching, so many emails, and a final pre-purchase phone conversation with Dana, our Oatmeal tweed Sullivan sectional was delivered before the 6-week order window. In short, we are thrilled. We have a narrow room and I was worried the piece might overpower the space, but it looks like it was made for the area. Guests comment that it is perfect in every way, and I have two friends that have asked about Maidenhome for their own sectional search. I gush so much about how happy we are that we made the decision, even though it was sight and sit unseen that I promised them I am not a representative for the company. The delivery team was polite, on time, and made sure that I was happy with the piece. The family (and teens) all approve, and I am already looking for my next Maidenhome piece (a chair) to compliment my Sullivan. In terms of sit, it is so comfy. I chose the standard option of down. We have put the performance fabric to the test a handful of times already and any spot has come out quickly (kids and chocolate chip cookies). I periodically fluff the back pillows but don’t mind that at all. I wish I would have ordered years ago!

We recently received our Sullivan sectional in Ecru Performance Weave, and 2 Downing chairs one with ottoman, in Midnight Velvet and we could not be more thrilled!!! The furniture is so beautiful, and perfect for our family room. It definitely gets daily use but always looks great! The sectional and chairs are super comfortable. There is good support but not “hard”. There’s enough give to make it super comfy and cozy. The dogs are loving it and even dirty paw prints clean right up. The quality of this furniture for the price is amazing! We have spent way more money in the past and haven’t gotten furniture this well made and stylish. I will be buying from Maiden Home again and I can’t say enough about how great the entire buying process, from swatches through delivery, has been. Excellent excellent service and product. I recently got my Sullivan sectional - it is awesome. All aspects of this process - swatches, ordering, delivery were beyond my expectations. I haven’t used this type of service before - but maiden home is my go to for my home, and my advice to friends and family. Just a great experience.

I looked for 11 months to find the perfect sofa and this was it! We have three growing boys, but a modest sized family room. I wanted a sectional that would fit a specific space but roomy enough for A family of five to enjoy movie night from (that was beautiful and comfortable too). I looked at Ethan Allen, Pottery Barn, Room and Board, Crate and Barrel, West Elm etc and wasn’t satisfied with the size, quality or price of anything. So finally I took a chance on Maiden Home’s Sullivan sectional. So glad I did. It’s comfortable and looks fabulous. Definitely room for all the kids for years to come!

Purchased a sectional, which is large and spacious and impossible to not feel comfortable on. It’s white, so I’m hoping it holds up against stains. So far, so good.

I first ordered swatches over a year ago and was hesitant to make a sofa purchase online, but i am so glad i finally made the decision to purchase from Maiden Home. Our Sullivan sectional arrived a few weeks ago and it exceeds our expectations in both looks and comfort. Roomy enough for our family and friends too, and the deep seats are so comfy ( I am partial to the corner). My only regret is that I hadn't done it sooner.

We couldn’t be happier with our new sofa. The whole experience was great — the Maiden Home team answered all of my questions and sent me pictures of different fabric types before we ordered, then kept us informed the whole way. When it arrived it was better than expected — really solid, very comfortable, and great looking. Everyone loves it and it really makes our room. So far the fabric seems nice and durable, which is a must with two kids and a dog. We highly recommend.

It's hard to say how happy we are with our L shaped with chaise Sullivan couch. Firm, but soft at the same time, you can really feel all the quality discussed on the website. We're in the midst of a home renovation and sometimes you can find yourself spending a not insignificant amount of money on items that just leave you disappointed. Our couch experience couldn't be farther from that. It is absolutely wonderful. If you're looking at places like Restoration Hardware, Room & Board, etc, I would highly recommend you consider going with Maiden Home. I firmly believe we got a superior product at a much lower price point. When we buy another couch for other parts of our house, it'll absolutely be from Maiden Home.

I needed two sofas for a Florida living room. I hunted high and low for good quality, made in the US, that didn't break the bank. I am a designer and have access to many trade only furniture companies, but prices are often out of my budget range. I took a chance and bought two white Sullivan sofas in the performance fabric, 4 years ago. They are the main sofas in the only living room and are used constantly. Four years on the sofas look great! They are comfortable, always look polished and ready to go. White is a tough color but all in all the fabric is performing well. I was so pleased with these sofas that I have bought two more for other rooms, and I have recommended and purchased them for my design projects and am very confident in the quality and can recommend the sofas with out worry. The clients who have purchased this sofa could not have been happier.. I think Maiden Home hits a nice sweet spot, good quality, well made in the US furniture for a good price.

I chose a Sullivan U shaped sectional for my clients, who have teenagers and a dog. We needed something that had the dimensions that this family found most comfortable. Sullivan was perfect. I was incredibly nervous to purchase something I had never tested out or seen in person. However, it turned out to be the best decision!! I absolutely love my Sullivan sectional. We purchased the L shape configuration and it is beautiful. The attention to detail and craftsmanship shows in this piece. I also love the way the pieces connect so easily! Great quality - I expect the Sullivan to hold up well. The cushions were pretty stiff after delivery, but relaxed after 1 month of use. It’s a versatile couch - perfect for lounging, but also acceptable for hosting.

We had a house fire in 2019 and lost all our furniture. I researched and researched sectionals and landed on Maiden Home. Super impressed with the communication, delivery, setup, etc. We love the way our Sullivan L Sectional in Performance Tweed Denim looks in our living room. We can fit lots of people on it. On one hand, it's wonderful and on the other, it's disappointing. The bones are great. The bones of this sectional will probably last my lifetime. It's the comfort and support we're disappointed in. The back cushions provide no support and they constantly need fluffing. And if I sit on the sectional too long, I can start to feel my lower back start hurting because of lack of support. It's probably our fault in picking the one we did. I just thought for the price we would get a lot more support and comfort.

Overall, I am pleased with my purchase of the Sullivan. You can tell that this is a sturdy and well-made sofa, and I feel confident that it will hold up over time. The fabric is soft and beautiful, and so far has proved to be pretty stain-resistant (though we did get a dark gray color, which I think helps mask stains regardless). The seat cushion is very comfortable and the right mix of firm, supportive and cozy, and the seat-back cushions are VERY full and plush - so much so that I actually think it would be difficult to use many throw pillows on the sofa, because there isn't a lot of seat area left. And that's my one and only complaint. I was really excited to get a deep couch, thinking I could comfortably curl up to watch TV, but the depth is actually reduced a lot by how fluffy the pillows are. That's not to say I would prefer less fluffy pillows, because I think the density will keep them from settling over time. But I guess I would have liked even more depth to compensate, as I'm sitting farther forward on the edge of the couch than I had hoped. Ultimately, I think I'll have to wind up getting a cushioned ottoman of some sort to prop my feet up so I can achieve the type of comfortable lounge position that I'm seeking.

I ordered the Sullivan sofa with chaise in the pewter chevron fabric. Let me start with the good: this couch is incredibly comfortable. It is deep, so it may not work for shorter people, unless you plan on lounging (irresistible, I think), but everyone in my family loves it. I have barely sat on the chaise, because there is ALWAYS someone else sitting there. The armrests are perfectly sloped for sitting sideways. The back cushions are plump and retain their shape well. Overall the craftsmanship is nice and the fabric appears to be high quality. The delivery was fast, friendly and safe. Now the bad: The seat cushions lose their shape immediately when someone sits on them. I don’t mind fluffing them every day if I must, but it is already multiple times a day. There is so much sag that the fabric ripples to the point of wrinkling and the edges need adjusted daily. I rotate the bench seat daily ( though it is not completely reversible due to the fasteners). The chaise cushion can’t be turned over and is starting to develop a permanent kink. It also moves around a fair amount on the footrest, because it is not secured anywhere. Also, the way the chaise is connected to the couch has a fairly large gap and moves around quite a bit. A minor flaw is they the stripes in the herringbone pattern doesn’t line up. Doesn’t bother me much, but feels like an oversight. Overall, not the elegant showstopper I had hoped for, but a very comfortable albeit very casual looking sofa.

The sofa is beautiful and overall comfortable. The only problem is the frame of the sofa is not padded at all. My kids and many adults have bumped their head hard on the back of the sofa as it is basically wood covered with fabric. No padding at all to be found. I understand the design of it calls for this sleek structure but I’ve seen many other sofas achieve this look while having some form of padding.

After nearly 2 years of debating whether or not to purchase from Maiden Home we ordered the Sullivan Sofa (90" in Char Performance Tweed) which we've now had for 1 month. The sampling, ordering, and delivery processes were smooth and the construction phase was very well communicated and tracked. First off, we love our Sullivan! The sofa is incredibly comfortable - the sloped arms create a nice corner to snuggle into and the bench cushion provides a sleek appearance that stays nicely in place thanks to the tie downs. The back cushions are extremely well filled and provide a plushy yet supportive back to rest against. Not a complaint, but this sofa is not the super plush, "melt-into, luxurious comfort" that is stated in the description - the bench seat cushion particularly is more firm and supportive. That being said, it's only been 1 month, so we shall see how it wears over the next year. To avoid the wrinkling and uneven wearing that some reviews have mentioned we fluff and rotate the back cushions weekly, and flip the seat cushion twice a month. The performance tweed is super soft and easy to clean, however it does collect and show lint more than anticipated (likely due to the dark color and higher texture pile). I'm a commercial interior designer and have sat in and seen my fair share of sofas that are in high traffic spaces; overall I highly recommend this piece and Maiden Home! My only suggestion would be to provide an option to somehow choose seat cushion "plushness" (similar to mattresses) or revise the description. Thank you Maiden Home!

This was my first time ordering from Maiden home. I have a couple rental houses and wanted to try it out before I ordered another one. They have a super easy website for ordering and were always helpful with their great customer service.Timing was pretty close to what I was quoted but they had trouble with offering varied delivery days, which I think they've rectified now. The couch looked great when it first arrived but after a few months the fabric is already puckering on the seat cushions. Strangely enough, the loveseat is not having that problem. It's most likely due to the long size. Other than that the furniture is made very well and It's possible that a different fabric might work better. I will see how it holds up through the next year or two and make a proper assessment.

We ordered this sofa in September and it arrived after 6 weeks in early November so we've had it for about 2.5 months. I'm of the opinion that you really can't tell the quality of a sofa until at least a year, but figured I'd give my review so far. The process, from ordering to delivery, was pretty seamless. I shopped around A LOT before settling on Maiden Home. I knew I wanted a really well made sofa, but getting one in Los Angeles at a semi reasonable price seemed impossible. I looked at N.C. made brands like Taylor King, Lee and Vanguard. Maiden Home promised a similar quality at a lower price. The sofa is great. The fabric is very pretty - got the Performance Chevron Cloud. It's also very comfortable. There are a few reasons I rated it at 4 stars, instead of 5 - I do have a couple complaints: I couldn't pick the sofa cushion. I wanted a seat cushion with coil springs in it and was unable to upgrade. As a result, the cushions are a little softer than I'd like and requires more fluffing than I anticipated. Maiden Home recommends unzipping the seat cushions and fluffing them every few weeks or so... With the Sullivan, you're either getting one long bench cushion, or in our case we got a sofa chaise and this consists of two long bench cushions, so it's not very easy to unhook them from the sofa, unzip them and fluff them. We do fluff them every few weeks, but once you sit on it a couple times the seat cushions flatten out enough that they sit lower than the frame. That means the majority of the time, the sofa seat cushions aren't at the proper height to actually reach that 35" height. Given how important height was to us, the fact that the sofa doesn't actually sit at the 35" height the majority of the time is a bummer. We end of using throw pillows behind our heads a lot. Otherwise I'm happy with the sofa and I'd buy another piece of furniture from Maiden Home.

We’ve had our Sullivan sectional for a few months now and really love the look and quality of our purchase. Our couch gets a lot of use but still looks very good after several months. Ordering was so easy and all the customization options were great - we ended up getting a performance fabric. I loved getting updates on the progress of my order along the way. Only reason it’s 4 stars, not 5, is because delivery was very late, there were some loose threads around a seam, and the performance fabric has been harder to clean than expected. Outside of that, this was the best local quality and modern craftsman furniture I found within a reasonable price range and it’s a wonderful couch we expect to enjoy for a long time!

My comments reflect that of another recent reviewer. I ordered the 100" Sullivan Chaise Sectional in a performance linen for my cozy T.V. /family room. I was looking forward to having a place to relax for tv watching! However, the back cushions and slope of the back of the sofa do not permit as much seat depth as I was looking for. The Back cushions are very springy / very filled which perhaps is great for a durable and long lasting shape; however leaves less room for sitting! The stated dimensions are 25" for seat depth - trust me it is more like 22-23". I feel like the stated measurement is misleading and that Maiden home should update the product page with a revised seat depth of 23" (max). If I had known this, I would not have purchased this sectional (would have opted for a different design). Would be great if Maiden-home could offer other seat cushion inserts that are less spongy and springy.

This sofa is really solid. The cushions shed feathers here and there as expected but nothing I would actually criticize. For you shorter folks out there - this sofa is deep which is awesome for naps and overnight guest but most folks under 6’ won’t have a solid foot on the ground if they are sitting without an additional pillow. 2 years in and the performance fabric in charcoal has been fine. It has shown wear on a piece that is lighter in use and not in sunlight. I’m a weirdo who vacuums my sofa at least once a week and it does keep everything in good shape but the front of the seat custom has started to show noticeable wear even with rotating the cushions. We have one kid - who is light on furniture and a non furniture dog so I won’t let them take the blame. I would not recommend the performance tweed fabric for those with busy household. I don’t think it would be for the long haul.

The sofa is not bad and has held up over time (I chose a chevron fabric). However, I am pretty sure when I bought it they touted it as 35" tall overall and 32" tall with the back frame. Now they have lowered both those measurements. Truthfully, the bench and back cushions deflate immediately upon sitting so the back cushions ALWAYS sit below the frame make the sofa very short and not ideal for tall or even average height people. Cannot lean your head back without a pillow. A good piece for a sitting room perhaps, but not ideal for watching TV unless the sofa is against a wall and you have extra pillows behind it. Also the arms are very narrow and have very little cushioning so are not good to lean against without pillows. I have banged my arm on the arms a few times and it really hurts due to the lack of cushioning. Other than that, the sofa has held up pretty well and still looks decent. It is not an uncomfortable sofa per se, just not to the level of what we had hoped for the price. I would hesitate before buying another sofa online, despite all the research I did.

There are some great things about the sofa the Sullivan (ie. fabric, look, price) but the back cushions have no support and are constantly needing to be flipped and fixed. Feathers are also continuously shedding all around my family room. I don’t believe they have a foam core which would really help with keeping their shape and structure. Very frustrating!

I am quite dissatisfied with my $9000 purchase. I purchased the Sullivan sectional and Sullivan sofa; they appear cheap, and the back seat cushions are severely deformed. I wish I had returned them and not given them so much time to be evaluated. I've owned them for less than fifty days and have later regretted my decision. It’s also poking feathers daily! The reviews made me believe I could shop online with confidence, however it turned out to be an expensive mistake.

I purchased a the Sullivan sofa and have had it in my home for close to a year. I love the look of it, it is heavy and seems well constructed, and the performance linen fabric has held up well so far, but especially for what I paid I am not impressed with the seat cushion. It arrived quite lumpy from the start, and has not evened out with use, and "regulating" and flipping the seat cushion periodically has not helped. One side has a disproportionate amount of feathers lumped together while the opposite side feels like only foam cushion. I contacted Maiden Home customer service about this early on, and while they were polite and offered the advice to "regulate" the cushion by taking it off, unzipping it, and firmly shaking and patting the cushion, doing this several times did nothing to redistribute the fill... and was time consuming and exhausting. The bench-style cushion is enormous and heavy, so it's not easy for a 118 pound female to do. I am a little disappointed in the quality and performance of the cushion, and would advise caution if you are considering the Sullivan and you think this might bother you.
